I’m not a weekly watcher in the least, but since Lennon/McCartney songs will be tonight’s theme, I thought we could discuss some of the performances here once they’re on Youtube.
Should be an interesting night… ugh, I cringe when I hear someone as vile as Ryan Seacrest say, “The BeEtles!”

I haven’t watched AI in a long time, but it seems that every time they have a Lennon-McCartney night, someone sings Let it Be, The Long And Winding Road , and Hey Jude … snoooooooze. Show offs.
The three who sang John songs were all pretty good, I thought. I kinda dug that chick who did Come Together . Not bad. She did have a Bonnie Raitt feel. And the dude who did Jealous Guy … he was kinda cool, I’m embarrassed to admit. And an out-of-the-box choice… gotta give him props for that, at the very least.

The only other one liked was the one you mentioned, Come Together . The others were heinous! I mean, I could have named the songs everyone would perform before mentioning them- same old, same old. Not that they’re bad songs (impossible!) but they’re the only songs the once-in-a-while listener knows.
Though, now that I think of it, the Can’t Buy My Love guy wasn’t terrible…
