Everybody was playing different guitars. Hell, Paul played a girl (who played the dancing girl in this scene, BTW?). George probably just grabbed the wrong guitar.

Ringo's playing guitar and John's playing drums, so I don't think it's exactly supposed to be accurate.

an early technique in Beatles movies is the idea of suspended reality. In the way in A Hard Day's Night the boys switch from playing cards to playing I Should Have Known Better - in Another Girl the instrumentation switching is part of the same teqhnique.

Dick Lester was the main proponent for this - the band loved the idea.

It seems rather passe today, but in it's day it was rather groundbreaking.

One of my favorite McCartney songs along with 'The Night Before'. I am still hopeful he will perform these live someday.

They aren't really supposed to be playing their own instruments, they were just messing around. And if you watch, Paul plays a girl, John plays the drums, Ringo plays a guitar, and George ends up playing Paul's and John's guitars! It was all just a bit of fun.
