I found it a bit disappointing. It was ghost written and the chronology is clearly awry in places, which made me suspect some of the facts were too. That said, she lived an interesting life and was well placed in the 60s. The best bits, for me, were the insights of events that don't often get written about, such as the trip to San Francisco with George and Derek Taylor in 67.

I stopped reading it when she got to the split from George. I don't particularly care about Clapton's life, and I wouldn't have read it at all if she ...

I think Yoko (or possibly Linda) is the only Beatle wife I'd definitely care to read a bio of.

I found it enjoyable. Like most Beatle books, there are a few nuggets worth collecting (and you'll find them you-know-where).
I'm glad she came out with this book. For years I thought, "Well THIS is someone who's got a story to tell."

I suppose so. Personally, I think models are really uninteresting, but whatever...Still, she was the first Beatle wife to get her voice on an album, so that's pretty notable!

I finished reading this book yesterday - and I thought it was quite good. Unlike some, it seems, I actually was/am interested in her life so I liked it a lot. Do agree with StarWisher though, I thought maybe she could of said a little bit more about George and her marriage to him. Yet again, if I had married George, I don't think I would like to share the special moments that I'd had with him - even more so now that he's not with us. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I would definitely read it again in ...

He recovered in 1973, although he had a brief relapse into depression in 1991, after his son died. That was why George did his tour in Japan.

Good. Although his mopeyness did lead to one of his best songs, Layla, so not all bad.
