<p>Clearly, Goldman went into this to tear Lennon down, although Lennon did a pretty good job of that himself throughout his years, especially the mid-70s...</p>
<p>Goldman made glaring mistakes (like listing two people, one of them Paul&#039;s brother, as unidentified in a photo) and was ripped for his choice of sources and taking many quotes out of to context...</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Well, wasn't Mr. Lennon quoted as saying the same thing in his 1970 Rolling Stone interview? But skye is right, what were they supposed to do? So they sold out to a certain degree by cleaning up their act and by playing the same set night after night. But that's music, you have to learn the rules and play the game, but still be able to bend the rules, which the Beatles certainly did from the very beginning starting with interesting chord progressions and progressing to their innovations in the studio.</p>
