Postage for Recording The Beatles is about $50 worldwide. Given the weight it's unlikely it'd be cheaper if people here set up an exchange - it's the postage that's the real expense. Plus, unless packages are marked as gifts, goods are often given an import levy by customs, which can be pretty high and fairly unpredictable.

Huh, I only paid about $8 (US) for shipping on the Recording The Beatles. You would think that they would set up in the UK and sell the books direct due to the fact that their is a huge Beatles fan base in England<br ...

The easiest solution was for me to create a new books forum, in which anyone can start a thread for individual publications. So here it is: http://www.beatlesbible.com/fo.....les-books/

As you'll see, I messed up royally trying to move over this thread into the books area. I don't think it can be done - only individual posts can be shifted as far as I can tell.

Anyway, feel free to use the books area for any discussions you may want to start.

I did set up a fledgling books section on the site, but I have enough else to do without writing loads of book reviews (and I have loads of books!). It was really a place for me to write about review copies I got sent, but in time I'd like to expand it and discuss Anthology, In His Own Write etc.

Trust me , the book is the holy grail of all Beatles Books. It is worth the $100 asking price just for the sheer volume of knowledge that is contained. When I first opened up the book, it opened to the floor plan of Abbey Road Studios and I was down right shocked in what I saw. My thought was always for years that Studio two was directly ...
