        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p><strong>The book blows Mark Lewisohn book away&#160; with&#160; sheer detail.&#160; It&#39;s&#160; doesn&#39;t&#160;&#160; go into detail on every song, only&#160;&#160; key songs that evolved the development&#160;&#160; of recording technology&#160; at Abbey Road Studios. Most of the songs on the first two albums where&#160; recorded&#160; live&#160; to either&#160; mono or twin track with a minimal&#160; of overdubbing As the recording&#160; process grew&#160; after the album Help,&#160; the book goes into major detail.&#160;&#160; What is awesome about this book, is the detail of all the equipment used at Abbey Road during the Beatles recording along with&#160; other groups like the Zombies and Pink ...]]></description>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;d really like a copy of that - it looks like a fantastic book. Unfortunately shipping and exchange rates mean it&#39;s very expensive to buy and get it delivered to the UK, where I live. Maybe one day.</p>
<p>A work colleague of mine had a review copy a while ago (perhaps I should request one too). I had a flick through it and it looked very good, though perhaps slightly too technical for my needs (I don&#39;t really need to know loads about variations between different types of microphone or mixing consoles).
