OfflineA photography book of Linda's photos is being released this year. We all now she took pictures of everybody including our lovely Fab Four. 750 copies of the book will be signed by Paul. The book will be available in English, French, and German. Sounds good right?
Price tag: $1000.
so who's buying and would like to lend it to me when they are done?
Thanks for the info. Apparently the signed editions have all sold out, though there's to be a cheaper version ($70). Wonder if Taschen do review copies…

Oh thank God for cheaper prices. But I want mine to have Paul's signature… and for that price, throw Paul in there as well.

For a $1,000 price tag, Paul should flip the pages and read the captions for you!

Yeah, what the heck does Paul need money for? Maybe he's donating a chunk to charity.
He does enough for Charity.

OfflineOh definitely he does, I'm not saying he doesn't. I'm just saying that if I were a billionaire, there's no way that I'd spend a couples of excruciatingly boring hours signing my name 1000 times, giving myself horrible hand cramps, all just to increase my net worth by 0.075% at the absolute most! (And a lot less than that after taxes, etc.)

That's a more likely number.

Can he do this? Can he come to every house and read to you while you are snuggled in bed listening to him talk about how he remembers that time John did something right when the photo was taken? I will gladly drop out of college in order to pay for this magical bedtime story moment.

Offlinehehe. the book is available in Poland NOW. wow. buuuut … it costs 200z? which is about 40 pounds right now. don't know a value of 40 p. ,but 200z? is quite expensive – I'd have to collect money for two months
oor beg paretns. Tell me, is the book really worth it.? I mean, yea, there're many nice paulie and no-paulie pics and stuff, but it will be my very first beatles book and I don't know if maybe it'll be better to spend money on something else. somebody read it/ watch it whole.?? I'd grateful if someone could do a little review.

OfflineI would say its not worth it. I havent ever seen the book but 2 months of collecting for a pictures book is only if you are desperate for it.
If you are looking for beatles books this thread discusses possible best beatle books, and many should be cheaper than £40 or 200uz.

OfflineThe Linda McCartney book is an absolute gem. It is huge and full of beautiful pictures. Obviously they vary a lot and have a lot of 'at home' ones, which are fantastic but the 60s Beatles, Hendrix photos etc. are wonderful.
Note: I do not have a signed copy! Mine I believe was £45 reduced to £25!!!
