I have to agree, it is a little thin, and it is completely mind-boggling as to why John felt snubbed in the book, unless he was hoping for an entire section or something. I'd like for someone to write a good one. I'd read Dark Horse a while ago, but then heard many negative things about it.

The pictures in I Me Mine were great. Wasn't there one captioned "George eating a cheese sandwich," and it was something completely different?

1) Versus "It's only me, it's not my mind" - It does make more sense.

I'm reading through this right now. It's kind of calming when compared to the last book I read. I'm passed the bio and the pictures. The pictures should have had his comments as footnotes rather than hiding them in the back. The bio is... strange. If it had been the first of a monthly series, Deep Thoughts by George Harrison, it would have made sense, but it's kind of thin for an autobiography. I had to laugh at John feeling snubed - unless it involved Indian music, gardening, or race cars, he didn't spend a lot of time on it. ...

Finished! Yep, got to agree with you Joe. What George did say was interesting, but it wasn't long enough.

His quotes on his songs were good to read - what they were about, how he wrote them.

Do let us know what you think. I read it about 15 years ago, but apart from the handwritten lyrics and nice illustrations I can only recall that it wasn't very well written. George really could have done with a good copy editor

I've just taken delivery of this book.........many, many years too late I think! At least I can afford it now, which was not the case when it was first released!

It's very interesting to read his comments on each song he wrote. More later..........
