Thoughts on the book? My copy arrived yesterday. It's beautiful. I need to spend a bit of time to fully appreciate it, but initial impressions are that they've done a wonderful job.

I ordered my copy of the book on Amazon two days ago. So hopefully it will be here next week. I can't wait. I'm going to have to find a link that will be streaming the documentary. I don't have HBO in my dorm.

Tempered expectations are in order here. The trailer is a cherry-picked version, taking the best of everything. I think it will be great, but I'm really not sure.

I like how Eric Clapton talks about how he and George shared so much one being women.

It lasts for 3 1/2 hours. This is not going to be your normal retelling fodder. Its going to be indepth. Hooray.

This looks really excellent. I must admit that I haven't been that interested in George and his life outside of the Beatles. Maybe this film will change that. I'm happy to see Paul, Ringo, and Eric in there. Looks to be an awesome documentary!
