My mum was one of the people interviewed by Martin Creasy (the author) - she saw The Beatles a couple of times in 1963. I didn't realise she'd been interviewed until I was reading the book and saw her name. That was a surprise...

This book focuses strictly on the tours down in Great Britain, mostly in 1963 as Beatlemania was just developing and there are literally hundreds of quotes from fans at the various concerts, as well as interviews with the other performers on the bills for these package tours.
