Ok, a little on topic – I put my vote for the 45s as they were, separate.
I might like an entire new album with the singles, but not adding them to each additional album. And the idea of the “singles” album would have to be released at the end of their career, or after an album’s worth were amassed.
Past Masters is that singles album you are referring too. I too wish they released a whole box set of albums as well as the 45’s included as a whole set, but as some have mentioned it would have been to costly. Actually they are costly as it is.

Wouldn’t it be great if Apple re-released the Beatles remaster series as a 2CD set and have the Anthology songs as extra tracks on the second disc? so you have the original album on one cd and bonus material on the other?

Offline Do we really need another reissue of the original studio albums where they are repackaged? I like having some money and when Apple put that kind of thing out i have little very little left.
To quote that mega-hip and highly revered band Girls Aloud and their hit song ‘Something New‘- “all i want is something new, something i can hold on to“.

Maybe, but I bet there are a lot of Beatlegs out there that do just that!
CD’s are going the way of the 8 track, save your money it’s all downloadable for free! Make your own CD cover and congrats you now own a beatleg!
