Here’s a mashup/cover of Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton and A Man I’ll Never Be by Boston. My singing isn’t that great, but I hope you enjoy the music!

I covered Green Day’s Holiday off American Idiot on bass, playing over the original. It’s a little off at the beginning, but I hope you guys like it anyway.

@Mr. Kite, wow! That was really good. I like your voice and I like the way you sing. Not technically impressive, but there’s that emotion you produce that most singers would be jealous of. I do think that some parts were too low for you, though.
Your guitar playing sounds awfully similar to mine :) Hope you post some more covers.

Thank you very much! And there were definately parts that were just out of my reach, on that vocal test I think you posted I was pretty bad low, but could go pretty high with falsetto, when I’m actually singing I find it hard going low or high, limited vocal range, but I’ve been trying to work on that.

Do you have any covers up? So we can all hear your playing. And I will definately post more soon! ahdn_ringo_09

No, I haven’t. Mostly because I don’t have a good quality recorder. I could upload something from my cell-phone, but I suppose I just feel too self-conscious having heard all these good recordings.

It’s ok not to have state of the art super cool recording things if you feel the power of music compel you then show of your talent don’t let the fancy recording thingies stop you from following you cover adventure

Yeah… What Anna said… Phone recordings aren’t that bad and we’d love to hear some recordings!

My phone’s crappy sound recorder and I present you my cover of Regina Spektor’s Samson
I realize I could do better, but I could only do one take as it was not my keyboard that I was playing on. Also, you can notice I focus more on the keyboard than the singing as I can barely play it. I hope you like it nonetheless :)

@ScrambledEggs Love it! Never heard the song before, but love it!

However – and, ooo, there always has to a “however”, fecking barsteward – it reminds me of something, someone… I’ll let you know when it comes to me.

Levels on Strawberry Fields way too high, had to keep turning it down to stop it distorting… Something there though.

A talented young lady.

Ah, didn’t realize once Samson was over it would move on to Strawberry Fields. I have no idea how to stop that from happening. And yeah, Strawberry Fields is over-edited and has got waaay too many effects, but that’s the way it was sent to me by the friend who recorded it.

Thank you for the compliments and feedback, it means a whole lot to me. I’m glad that you liked it.

@ScrambledEggs Don’t know why this occurred, something to do with the voice, but I think you could do a great Day Tripper  on keyboard, on the slow side of its tempo.

Thanks for the suggestion! I wish I could actually play the keyboard – I’ve can only really play a few songs, such as Imagine and Let It Be and easy Regina Spektor stuff I can learn by ear. But hopefully that will change soon once my keyboard arrives during the next week, and I’ll finally get a chance to improve my skills. Who knows, I might even get down to learning Day Tripper which shouldn’t be too difficult as I can play it on the guitar already. The guitar is my instrument.
