I agree, us US Americans don't take too kindly to insults from you Canadian folk.

That smells like redundancy. But maybe it's not.

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

I should have been clearer - I don't think that it could be considered sarcasm. There's really only one way to interpret that sentence. a-hard-days-night-george-10

Paul McCartney - Here Today

AND IF I SAY I REALLY KNEW YOU WELL,

WHAT WOULD YOUR ANSWER BE?

IF YOU WERE HERE TODAY.

UH, UH, UH, HERE TODAY.

WELL, KNOWING YOU,

YOU'D PROBABLY LAUGH AND SAY

THAT WE WERE WORLDS APART.

IF YOU WERE HERE TODAY.

UH, UH, UH, HERE TODAY.

BUT AS FOR ME,

I STILL REMEMBER HOW IT WAS BEFORE

AND I AM HOLDING BACK THE TEARS NO MORE.

UH, UH, UH,

I LOVE YOU, UH.

WHAT ABOUT THE TIME WE MET? (what about the time?)

WELL, I SUPPOSE THAT YOU COULD SAY

THAT WE WERE PLAYING HARD TO GET.

DIDN'T UNDERSTAND A THING,

BUT WE COULD ALWAYS SING.

WHAT ABOUT THE NIGHT WE CRIED? (what about the night)

BECAUSE THERE WASN'T ANY REASON

LEFT TO KEEP IT ALL INSIDE.

NEVER UNDERSTOOD A WORD,

BUT YOU WERE ALWAYS THERE WITH A SMILE.

AND IF I SAY I REALLY LOVED YOU

AND WAS GLAD YOU CAME ALONG.

THEN YOU WERE HERE TODAY,

UH, UH, UH, FOR YOU WERE IN MY SONG.

UH, UH, UH, HERE TODAY.

That's not really improved by all the "Uh, uh uh"s. Makes me think of James Brown doing a funk cover version.

"Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in a church where a wedding has been.
Huh! Take it to the bridge!
Lives in a dream."

I think we were all joking Mr. Sun King, don't worry, we won't send the United States posse, Dick Cheney and Rudy Guiliani, up to go hunting with you. And the US Americans thing comes from this shining beacon of hope for our country.

As a citizen of The World, people who are that stupid should be sent to Siberia. No Matter where they live.

I personally believe that most US Americans shouldn't be send to Siberia because some people in our nation don't have transportation, and I believe that other nations, the France, the Japan, everywhere like such as, need to give those modes of transportation to US Americans, everyone like such as, and that way we will build up our future.

And that video is why beauty pageant winners don't do much after their year with the crown. I only know of one and that's because she is choreographing out school musical.

I hate beauty pagents! Whenever people win things because of looks and crap like that it just makes me sick. Especially when little kids are forced into them by their parents.

Today I feel like pleasing you more than before
Today I know what I want to do but I don't know what for
To be living for you is all I want to do
To be loving you it'll all be there when my dreams come true
Today you'll make me say that I somehow have changed
Today you'll look into my eyes, I'm just not the same
To be anymore than all I am would be a lie
I'm so full of love I could burst apart and start to cry
Today everything you want, I swear it all will come true
Today I realize how much I'm in love with you
With you standing here I could tell the world what it means to love
To go on from here I can't use words, they don't say enough
Please, please listen to me
It's taken so long to come true
And it's all for you
all for you....

-Today by Jefferson Airplane

I love Grace Slick's voice in this song.

I didn't understand half of the things she was trying to say, and I literally facepalmed after the first sentence she said.

I'm a sucker for old jazz songs, so some of these lyrics come off as cheesy but I don't care.stuart-sutcliffe

"And now the purple dusk of twilight time

Steals across the meadow of my heart

High up in the sky the little stars climb

Always reminding me that we're apart"

Nat King Cole - Stardust

"Everything's ok, the live long day

With this mellow song, I can't go wrong

In a mellow tone, that's the way to live

If you mope and groan, something's gotta give

Just go your way, and laugh and play

There's joy unknown, in a mellow tone."

In a Mellow Tone - Duke Ellington

"Why do cupids and angels continually haunt her dreams like memories of another life?"
Is printed on her shirt in capitals.

Trompe Le Monde - Pixies. Great opening to an album.
