Yeah, skye – I mess with the signature from time to time, but the avatar remains the same.

To answer your question, I'm doing great thanks. I'd be better if my yard didn't have tons of snow in it, but that gives me something to look forward to. Hope all is well with you my friend.

After watching three minutes of “Winter Wipeout,” you say you've lost all hope in humanity. You pause. You add, “Except the people on the Beatles Bible. I still have hope for them.”

And then you get a 9 and claim that the universe agrees with you.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Winter Wipeout. Do I dare ask?

Also, you know you're one when you throw details of your personal life (sort of) on here, and are majorly gutted that no one is here to share anything with except for that yanghongyu spammer.

Jeez, brackets, poor Pru's Ringo thread, and this. I almost want to check my horoscope because today was just a really great day.

Winter Wipeout is a (Probably really bad) new TV show on ABC. Every Day on here is great.

So it's like Wipeout, but in the snow? a-hard-days-night-paul-3

I miss the days when there were shows that were interesting…

Once reality shows became popular TV went down the toilet. And I stopped watching it as much.

70’s TV on DVD is a great thing, people! The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Rhoda, The Dick Van Dyke Show (Yes I know that’s 60’s).

Yes. And what's worse is that my siblings think it's funny.

Or at least they think Wipeout is funny.

Once my dad was watching and said, “I doubt that water is actually ice-cold.”

The 90's really did ruin the Entertainment world. Bad Music, bad TV and Bad Music videos. The only ggod thing to come from the 90's is the Beatles Anthology stuff.

Which 90s are you living in? because the one I was living in had Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Sonic Youth, Pavement, Sebadoh, Oasis and Blur, Garbage, U2's Achtung Baby and R.E.M.'s Out of Time, Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, the entire Lillith Faire brigade, come to think of it. I think the 90s had some pretty good years under its belt musically. Of course, you'll find examples to prove me wrong, but no, the 90s were not a trashy music decade.

See I could do the same thing with the 70s and focus on disco and completely ignore Elvis Costello, Blondie, The Jam, The Clash, and The Police. I bet if you look, you'll find something you like in any decade.

And I got a *17* so neener neener. a-hard-days-night-george-10

Ok, Punk aside, The 90's weren't great musically. I mean, Sinatra, Cobain, Perkins, others, all died in the 90's, and George was stabbed.

neener neener? Really?

I get cranky when people look backwards and say that a certain decade's music was crap, because it just means that they haven't looked hard enough.

I'm not looking at who died. I'm looking at who produced.

And I think the word you want to use is “grunge,” not “punk” when talking about the 90s. a-hard-days-night-george-10

And yes “neener neener” because I'm not exactly taking this “argument” seriously. 🙂

I thought Punk was the ’80s and Grunge was the ’90s. Also, the “Neener neener” made that post even cooler.

:-O

The 90s were awesome! We had Nintendo 64. a-hard-days-night-john-1

And original Pokemon! None of this 700 Pokemon nonsense. Back in the day, we had 150, and goshdarnit, we liked it! …Get off my lawn.

It really does depend on where you look, I guess. There was a lot of bad music in the 90s, but there was a lot of good as well.
