Mexico were doing well for the first 20 or so minutes, but then South Africa took over. It's 1-1 right now though, so it could go either way. It's about 2am here right now. Damn you, timezones.
Yeah… we have a saying in Mexico. "We play our best ever, we lost as we always do" (Jugamos como nunca, perdimos como siempre). We should have won at least 2-0.
Anway. I'll go with England this World Cup.

OfflineYeah, now is the time all my co-workers in this multicultural office-building get out their flags cheer on their home countries! Or the birthplace of their parents, or grandparents, as the case may be. (Me, I'm Canadian and don't give a damn about any sport except hockey – congratulations Blackhawks!)

Man, I hate soccer.
But soccer is fun. Or at least it's my excuse to say bad words in front of my Dad…
(yeah I know I'm 40, but he still raises an eyebrow if I say a bad word).

I think Mexico now has a chance like never before but it's not using the full power, that why we tie to South Africa today.
Let's see in the next one, and i have fate that they will win.

Maybe they will… but I'm not that sure. At least Rafa Marquez scored a goal

This could sound little weird, but when I was in secondary school, you have to chose between football (soccer) or music. I chose music.
And I hate football (soccer).

I'm in shock!!!!!

VIVA LA ITALIA!!!!!!!!!!
America does not stand a chance! I'm cheering for England too! I'm sure Italy will win the World Cup once again this year! Also, just to involve The NBA Finals, KOBE!
I bet Kobe will score more points in the first half of game 5 then all of the teams combined at the World Cup. As Stephen Colbert so eloquently put, no one likes to watch guys jog up and down a field.

OfflineI'm listening to England-Argelia's game right now while preparing a class, when I suddently listen to "Lennon tries to find McCartney, but noooo.. he missed his shot…. of course McCartney is Rooney" (or something like that) and I say "What??"
Well it seems there's a Lennon in the England's soccer team. I thought it was a funny reference.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A…..ron_Lennon
(Ok I hardly know the names of the Mexican soccer players so please don't shoot me for not knowing this)
Great, Australia is playing really well against Ghana, score a goal, and then our star striker gets a red card and gives away a penalty for a handball that was completely accidental. That's our second red card in two games, and to our two best players. What a disastrous world cup…
