OfflineI can't stand AC/DC, I loss respect for people that think "they're awesome".
I see people wearing an AC/DC shirt, and they look like lower-middle class slobs, that simply don't understand how the world works. I know I'm being harse, and a lot of people like AC/DC, but come on, the instruments are mediocre at best, the singing is repeatitive, and annoying, and the lyrics mean NOTHING (see 'Big Balls'
.
How can anyone think Angus Young is a legend, his legacy means nothing to mean, his legacy is the man who was loved by rednecks acrossed the world.
I just don't see how loving AC/DC is possible when we have four young gents, you may have heard of them, they're from a place call Liverpool, I believe they go by the title of… um… THE BEATLES!
Notable (terrible) Mentions: Nickelback, Theory of The Deadman, Pink Floyd, KISS, and there are plenty more.
Great bands, that deserve a shout: The Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, The Doors (I don't think Jim is a poet, but I think it's a great songwriter), The Who, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and other that have not been mentioned, I'm sorry.
Pink Floyd?
I do, however, completely agree about Nickelback. How anyone can stand it is beyond me, but it's their music, not mine. As long as they don't force me to listen to it, ahaha.
ACDC have essentially one song, that they changed slightly and released over and over again. Their music sounds very similar.

OfflineBlack Eyed Peas. Worst band in the world. I find their popularity absolutely mystifying.
Very little else I think is truly terrible – I find it's easy to tune out most other music, and so much of it leaves me indifferent rather than hating it. Anything R&B that uses masses of autotune will normally leave me reaching for the dial, but I don't stick around long enough to find out who it is.
Back In Black is a fantastic song BTW. There's nothing wrong with rewriting the same song if it's a good one. Oh, and Big Balls is funny, no? Admittedly I've not heard it since I was about 15 (I'm not really a fan but I know a few people who love them).

OfflineOasis.
I like their music, but Noel Gallagher thinking he's the love chid of John Lennon and Paul McCartney delivered by Ringo Starr and raised by George Harrison annoys me to no end.
Or is it Liam? ah well who cares. Their music is good, but that arrogance totally turns me off.

OfflineAC/DC rocks, dude! (Even tho they were much better with Bon Scott as a singer.) And I take offense at Hammer's implications that there's something wrong with being "lower middle class", and that I "don't know how the world works!" And I'm pretty damn smug and arrogant about my tastes, which encompass 5000+ records/CDs/etc featuring all forms of jazz, punk, pop, disco, rap, avant-garde electronic, you name it. And, uh, maybe this thread wasn't such a good idea…'All you need is love', etc…
Who do I hate? Well, I think Korn and Radiohead are pretty awful. (LOL I am old!)

I deserved that, I'll be honest, I really did, but I meant it in a way that I feel as if all people who listen to AC/DC are like that, I'm middle class, nothing fancy about me.
Well, I'm very sorry for offending you.

OfflineI agree with all of those, but Van Halen's alright (I'm not a fan or anything), but I am a fan of Rush, but I only like them for Tom Sawyer, and some other ones, and I idolize Neil for his drumming ability, as I hope to be a professional drummer someday. Any other band you mentioned, I can agree.

OfflineI love Van Halen (Didn't like them when they were with Sammy Hagar).
I know it really isn't a band, but I really really really really really really really really REALLY hate Justin Bieber. Everything that kid does makes me want to punch a bunny.

Jonas Brothers. How anyone would like them is beyond me. And the fact that they did a cover of Hello Goodbye (and it really sucked, by the way), just made me hate them more.
Props to this comment.
