OfflineI got a few Beatles things:
A Beatles drum book and a Beatles piano book
And I got a drum kit!
I'm going to be busy these holidays. I feel sorry for the neighbours…
I also got $100, which I've already spent half of on Microsoft Points so I can buy songs for Rock Band 3 (including the Imagine album and Happy Xmas (War is Over)).

God, what a mess, but thank God it all worked out.

But the best gift of all was a guitar signed by Paul Mccartney. We also got 2 more guitars. One signed by all the Rolling Stones, and another one signed by Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Jeff Beck, B.B. King, Keith Richards, Eddie Van Halen, and Sting. They have authenticity certificates and everything.
Oh and a yellow Submarine Snow globe.
Dude. How has everyone managed to pass over this without absolutely dying of jealousy? Because I definetly have. Where did they buy them? How much were they? Please take pictures!
I'm talking about the Yellow Submarine Snow Globe, of course.

I've already had 2 complaints about the noise. I hope I don't get arrested for "disturbing the peace".

Totally true, but SO much more enjoyable when it's all over with and you're set till next year! (And if you're fortuneate, you HAVE money to get yourself whatever you need or want. Like the "Plastic Ono Band" and "Imagine" remasters which are the sole Beatle-related items that I'll take away from this holiday season. Christmas becomes boring once you get older, all you really need is money.

Why thank you! The base is really colorful and the yellow sub is on the inside and it rotates around and the song it plays is none other that Solja Boy Tell 'Em. JK it plays Yellow submarine.

OfflineThe only Beatle realted thing I got this year was that huge Anthology book. And it was really the only gift I got that I was any bit excited about.
But I do never know what I'll be getting from my uncle and aunt on Thursday. Hopefully not another Twilight t-shirt.
I don't even like Twilight anymore.

And, there are kids on here, so please lay off the swearing.
I think we can all handle a bit of swearing. Just be polite and don't swear at each other.
Hi all. First time on the site since Christmas Eve. Beatle-related things I got:
A Help! tin container with The Beatles' semaphore figures in silhouette, three pairs of Beatles socks and an I Love Ringo chocolate lolly (all from the Beatles Story shop in Liverpool)
A couple of books: You Never Give Me Your Money by Peter Doggett and Starting Over: The Making of Double Fantasy by Ken Sharp. I've not read the first one yet but the Ken Sharp book is fantastic – it's an oral history of the making of the album, done in Anthology style with some great pics I'd never seen before. I really recommend it.
Nowhere Boy on DVD. I've not seen it since the Abbey Road screening, but I've since been to Mendips and it'll be nice to see how authentic it all was. Not had a chance to see it yet.
There's also a copy of the Liddypool book on its way, but Amazon.co.uk has been out of stock for a while.
