OfflineThe first CD I ever got (I'm too young to have bought cassettes or vinyl) was the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever. I now shudder thinking I ever enjoyed such a thing. Disco is very much dead.

OfflineMy first CD was Some Hearts by Carrie Underwood- got it when I was 9. I wasn't a country fan, just a big fan of American Idol.

My first casettes were Revolver and part of the Blue Album. Though I hadn't purchased them, they had been stuffed in a box for 20+ years, just waiting to be discovered. 'Rescued' is a more fitting term…

. This is what I loved between the ages of 5 and 10. I was so into pop music.

How I got obsessed with Beatles, was when I was going to buy a christmas present for my mom, I thought she'd like the Pepper album, but, no.
She gave it to me later, so decided to just listen to it, and I was sold.

Oh, the joys of being a '90s child. My brother and I absolutely wore that one out.
I think the first one I ever owned myself was Parachutes by Coldplay, <img src="/forum/all-together-now/what-was-your-first-album/page-4/

First Beatles album… I made a mixed CD with the songs, but the first album was a vinyl copy of Sgt. Pepper's, even though I have no record player
Oh and I got a vinyl copy of the White Album at the same time.
EDIT: why is it that I can never post pictures anymore?
I've been using photobucket but apparently "you can't do that"

OfflineThe long play single cassette version edition of the blue album with Revolution and Back In The USSR switched places. My second was the weird Help! cassette with the even weirder tracklisting where someone had completely rerganised the running order. Help! still sounds strange to me not starting with I Need You.
