This is a game that me and my cousins play all the time, it's called "The 'What If' Game", and it's really fun too so I'll explain to you how it works!
Well first someone has to ask a 'what if' question, then the next person can either decide to respond to the 'what if' question with another 'what if' question or they can decide to make a comment or any thoughts they have on the 'what if' question that they are responding to and then they can start a new 'what if' question if they'd like!
Here's my example:
Person 1:
What if John Lennon wasn't shot?
Person 2:
What if he died of a heart attack on December 9 of 1980?
Person 3:
I think that him and Yoko would've gotten divorced and John and Julian would have a really tight relationship!
What if your house just started burning but there was no fire?
so it goes like that, really, and I'll start:
What if Ivan Vaughan was never born?

I LOVE THIS GAME!
I play it all the time when I'm in the car with my mom and siblings, only we don't respond to eachother; we just say really random 'what if' questions sans my mom because she gets really annoyed by it.

I think that Paul would've gotten farther than John because if it weren't for Paul, he wouldn't know how to play the guitar correctly, and also I believe that Paul inspired John to write more songsm and because I guess his bend wasn't so great before Paul joined.
What if when you walked out of your room you were in a whole nother dimention?
