Currently relaxing after work listening to Spacemonkeyz vs. Gorillaz – Laika Come Home. It's a dub reggae remix of most of the songs from Gorillaz self titled album. It's something different, and pretty good chill out music.

I believe it's on youtube, for those that are curious.

Just listened to the song "Never Tell Your Mother She's Out of Tune," featuring George Harrison on guitar.

I'm Necko.  I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

"Once in a Lifetime" – Talking Heads

it's one of those really addictive songs

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Q: What do you get when you cross a 60 mile commute with a snow storm?

A: A wonderfully unexpected day off!!

I started my "George" playlist and am watching the snow pile up outside.

Currently up to 'Isn't it a Pity'. And, it appears my internet connection at home is finally working – huzzah!!

It's gonna be a great day.ahdn_george_08

Heard this a day or so ago on the radio and love it. The internet is such a great thing as went from from not knowing who sang it or the actual title to downloading it for 69p in less than 5 minutes.  Such a great song but not exactly cheery – and John didn't like Paul's "please lock me away" opening line from World Without Love.a-hard-days-night-john-7

George's last ever concert appearance at the Albert Hall on the 6th April 1992.

On my ipod i'm listening (not now tho) to Wings live in '72, the next step in my Paul archival treck thru his ex Beatles-career, not heard a few of the songs before; 1882 is really good as is Wild Life live. Wings first incarnation were a really tight band and Paul really should release one of their concerts officially.

Mixed bag of good and so-so Beatles covers, but Eddie Izzard's cover of "Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite" makes it all worth it! a-hard-days-night-john-1

trcanberra's posts have me wanting to go on a Dylan-a-thon.

Is it possible for a song to both relax and energize you at the same time? Yep.

Zig, have you ever been to Beale Street? This song makes me feel like I'm there.

Can buy Joe love! Here's the link that explains how. http://www.beatlesbible.com/forum/getting-better/forum-changes/page-9/#p110183
