My Rubber Soul playlist. Right now If I Needed Someone is playing. Do I really need to say who the artist is?

By the way, I’ve been listening to the Beatles for at least two hours.

I was just listening to that, what beautiful music…. Makes me sad now.

When The Sun Goes Down by the Arctic Monkeys- awesome riff; great, imaginative lyrics; Alex Turner’s cool Sheffield accent.

"I don't think we were actually swimming, as it were, with shirts on, 'cos we always wear overcoats when we're swimming,"-

“Can’t Stop Thinking About You” – George Harrison

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

I’ve got a playlist going of mellow Beatles stuff, because I’m sick and having a quiet night.  Right now “Rocky Racoon” is playing.  🙂

"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been..  I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene..  Banjos!  Banjos!  All the time, I can't forget that tune..  and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

Runaround Sue – Dion

I just got a new iPod, but I also got a new computer, so the only songs I have on my new iPod are the ones I bought from iTunes, which means no Beatles or post-Beatles. I have to get around to that somehow.

Just found a used Best Buy promo CD with selects from Oobu Joobu, the radio show Paul was doing in ’95 for Westwood One, so that’s playing in my car.

Haven’t listened to that in a while, so inspired to do the same. Always love The Beatles connections with Piper. Recorded at Abbey Road while they were recording Sgt. Pepper , and produced by “Normal” Norman Smith, their former engineer.

fabfouremily inspired a bit of an early Pink Floyd/Syd Barrett session. Piper at the Gates of Dawn and Saucerful of Secrets. Dozed off about half-one this morning listening to Crazy Diamond (the Barrett box-set, not the song). Woke-up a little bit ago and put it back on.

Glad to hear I inspired you to listen to such genius music. No need to ask you if you enjoyed it, I suppose.
