At my school, each class period is exactly 43 minutes long. I guess that would make lunch 43 minutes as well.

I don’t eat breakfast at the weekend but on normal days it’s Aldi brand Rice Krispies all the way and today I ate white chocolate omnomnomnom who cares if bikini season is coming up. Screw it I live in Ireland! We haven’t seen sun since the 80’s to paraphrase Ringo when he was asked do they have the sun in Liverpool “No they’ve finished up there”

That puts me in mind of that Beatles lyric:

Sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun.
If the sun don’t come, you get a tan
From standing in the English rain.

Speaking of orange juice, I can never drink it past morning time.  I could never understand people who reach into the fridge late in the afternoon or worse yet, in the evening, and get some orange juice to guzzle down.  To me orange juice is strictly a morning thing.  Later in the afternoon and evening is the time for other drinks, like cranberry juice, or soda, or wine.

Anyway, when I do drink orange juice in the morning, I add the juice of a half a lime squeezed in — it adds a nice zest to the rather insipidly normal flavor of OJ.

Yes, orange juice is a morning beverage… unless I’m eating breakfast for lunch or dinner. :D

Periods at my school are twenty three minutes long. So we have sixteen periods in a school day.

I know. Lunch and study halls are only one period long, but actual classes like math or English are two periods long.

Lunch and study hall at my school are combined so they only take up one period. There’s no “Okay, lunch is over, time for study hall.” It’s basically just “Finish your lunch and go do homework or something.”

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 We seem to have gone a little off topic here :)

I’ve just had homemade apple and almond tart with vanilla ice cream, made by me :D

Corned Tuna! No need to point out that they serve rice with anything around here. It’s like corned beef but with tuna! I hate seafood in general (hard to admit but I have a fear of wide oceans and swimming fish)but I could make do with tuna. But the tuna meat we get here are actually from the scraps from the head and tail, usually they export the belly.

But my-all time favourite food would either be mashed potatoes or Quaker oatmeal (chocolate-flavoured)

To bring the thread off topic again I have 9 classes everyday and we don’t have “study periods/study hall” or whatever it’s called. Two classes from 9:20-10:45. Break from 10:45-10:55, then four classes from 11:00-1:20, then lunch from 1:20-1:55 then finally three classes from 2:00 to 3:55 then home wooo a-hard-days-night-george-10
Back on topic I had potato and carrots and turnip today omnomnom

About orange juice: We always DO freshly squeeze the oranges with this machine and make juice of it at home. My mom has done that for us since we were toddlers and she still does it, because she believes it helps and because my brother and sister hardly eat any fruit.

Anyway, I’m eating a granola bar.

I just drank a glass of peach-flavored iced tea. I’m slightly addicted to iced tea. I like to try different brands and flavors. So far, peach is my favorite. :)

In contrast to the granola bar of 2 weeks ago, I’m now eating chocolate bar. Not the whole bar, just about a fourth of it. (I’ve already eaten the rest of it yesterday, shh)

Taking my blood-pressure pill and drinking the first of many coffees. Another workday has begun!

(Breakfast one hour ago: Quaker Corn Bran Squares w/half a banana & milk. Snack two hours from now: Half an apple.) (Granny Smith, naturally.)

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.
