If we're not cheesy on Valentine's Day.. then when?

I had a fantastic Valentine's Day. I got tons of candy and a lot of hugs. And my Dad bought me my favorite food for lunch : Empanadas de Salpicon. Delicious. heart

Ok now I know I said I hate Valentine's Day, but I dunno why, this year was the first one in being very good. It was very stressing that's for sure.

Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie…… Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower… Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go. Beware of Darkness… I believe in SH...

Thank you Seaglass, love Snoopy, Woodstock and all the Peanuts gang. Brought a smile to my face.

Personally not a fan of Valentine'd Day, but then i dont buy into any event that informs me that i have to go and act in a certain way.

If you want to show someone you love them then you shouldnt have to wait for February the 14th to do so. Go on, be different and display your feelings more freely, dont be dictated to. Send flowers and take your partner out because you love them not because its the 14th of February.

Same with Christmas and Birthday cards. Why must we wait till a certain date to say "hi, thinking of you?" And most cards are sent out because its expected, if not demanded, not because the sentiment is correct.

Reminds of the Simpsons episode where Lisa gives Ralph a valentines card because she feels sorry for him.

Sorry but it bugs me – and yes im a cynic.
