Offline Happy Valentine’s day…whether you celebrate it or not!
Alas, this year it’s just me and my dog. Zag is in Massachusetts for 2 weeks and we were supposed to meet in Maine tonight. The huge snow/ice storm that socked me in yeserday (20 F-ing inches!!!) is socking in Maine today so our plans fell through. The same type of storm kept us apart at Christmas as well.
Mother Nature is a flaming bitch – there I said it. 
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

Offline I still don’t get Paul’s valentines thingy. You send Paul’s site a valentine message and they send it on to someone else and for them to find it who it is they have to send it back. How do they send it back if they don’t know who sent it in the first place?

It’s a secret admirer thing. The idea is that they’re *supposed* to send it back to you, and then they find out who their secret admirer is. Honestly, I’ve never heard of anyone doing it this way before.
You better make sure you have a solid relationship before embarking on this.

Not yet but it might be a busy line, i think it takes a little bit longer than normal when you don’t have a mobile.

Offline My s/o and I are fairly non-traditional and usually ignore most holidays. We saw some v-day junk a couple of weeks ago while we were out and bought each other something the other would probably like. I ended up with a ceramic Darth Vader goblet full of those stupid message heart candy things (but with a Star Wars twist), and I got her a mug full of chocolate hearts that says “I can’t believe how much I’m not sick of you.” Seemed fitting.
We waited until midnight last night to dig into the candy, at least.
