That's correct. I asked the Red Cross if there was a single page that webmasters could link to, to allow people from all around the world to donate easily, plus banners/overlays to put on the sites. They didn't get back to me, which was a shame.

My family wasn't affected at all by the storms other than losing cable/tv/internet for a day. In fact, I slept through most of the storms because school was out that day. Still, I thank you for your kindness. There have been lots of horror stories, but also lots of comforting stories, too.

There is a blood shortage in Alabama (looks like watching CNN dies have value), and I feel sincerely sorry for all those who lost a family member/friend/other acquaintance.
(Also, Is it just me, or do a feel a sort of U/V emerging in the world? The bad, then some good?)

Edit: The US government should offer to double all donations to the Red Cross, up to a certain amount.
