I watched The Blues Brothers yesterday. Should I watch The Blues Brothers 2000? Is it any good?

I went to watch ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ one Friday night years ago. Turned out to be an audience participation evening and one of the worst things i have ever attended; left after 15 minutes of folk shouting out lines from the film, generally not in the right places, and badly dressed actors dancing about in front of the screen blocking the lower part of it.

That’s crap although most screenings of it would have audience participation I guess but the fact they you got both a brutal audience and awful cast is bad. I would recommend you to get a DVD or perhaps maybe watch it “legally” online, where you can decide to shout out at the characters or not.

I distinctly remember parlance and I saying it when some other user went to see Rocky.

People take one advice from me, NEVER EVER EVER  show chucky or such trippy movies (involving dolls) to your kids .

I am the guy who usually sleep at last, so it’s dark all around me.Whenever I see my sister’s old/new dolls lying any where I start to feel terrible insidea-hard-days-night-ringo-14

I first saw Chucky (Child’s Play 2) and a number of other horror’s when i was about 10, my brother got them from the local video shop. It was Freddy Krueger that traumatised me for months.

Must have been another user. I’ve only seen it 2x and I’m not a fan. I did once say I had a dream where I saw AHDN with audience participation ala Rocky Horror though.

Amazing character. The first movie of the saga was a good low-budget movie, with cheap but effective special effects; all the sequels belong to the garbage bin. The remake of the first movie is garbage as well.

The second was the one that scared the living daylights out of me, the whole school bus thing. The third was more funny than scary and the rest you watched once. The remake i never bothered seeing thru to the end.

A friend of mine loves that movie. She told me there’s even a fan club that annually holds a convention on the island where it was shot.

BBC4 have recently broadcast a few of the early Hammer Horrors starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee so been watching those on catch-up. Cushing is a legend and Christopher Lee makes a fantastic monster.

I saw The Book of Life with a friend tonight. It was amazing, overwhelming. And I wasn’t expecting to get all weepy during it.

Got Cloud Atlas on DVD finally.  Gonna watch it this weekend.

I will never understand why that movie didn’t do better, it boggles my mind.   a-hard-days-night-ringo-14
