I didn’t wish the Queen Mum (Queen Mother ) a happy birthday yesterday, @Zig, because it wasn’t her birthday yesterday (she was born on 4 August) and she’s been dead since 2002.
As for the Queen, she wasn’t a member of The Beatles or Bob Dylan, and those are about the only famous people I wish a happy birthday.
Ahhhhh, OK. So instead of the “birthday” thread, I should have been looking in the “rest in peace” thread. Thanks RN!

I was just looking at the list of which threads are being viewed (only mods and Joe can see the list) and saw that Star Shine? and Evangeline are looking at the main forum page and thought to myself “Star Shine and Evangeline rhyme”.
Annadog40, are you planning to keep the new name? I would just like to add my 2 cents on the matter. Personally, I think Star Shine? sounds like something an 8 year old would use. Annadog40, on the other hand, is a bold statement that you are a one-of-a-kind, never-to-be-repeated person. But, if you want to keep the new name, I’ll be the good mod and add it to the html names directory.

That’s the only mod exclusive thing that I don’t think would be terrible if it got into the hands of the commoners. (side note: sometimes I wait till you mods are gone before looking at certain threads :P)

Probably for now, Annadog40 was something that an 8 year old used. I think it’s time for a name change after all these years. I know change can be tough with user names, I wasn’t a fan of Ron Nasty’s name at first but it grew on me as time went on.
And I don’t think Annadog40 fits as well with the rest of my profile now as Starr Shine? does.

Is the end of Evangeline pronounced “line” (to rhyme with shine) or “leen” like how Emmylou sings it? I’ve always went with the latter.

Actually, I always thought there 39 other Annadog’s out there. Isn’t that one of the first things I asked you soon after you joined, @Starr Shine? ?

Offline I’m finally starting to unwind. As of 6PM today I am officially on holiday. Home by 7:30, I quickly changed into jeans and a t-shirt and off to the pub for a burger and an ale or three. Currently watching Rattle And Hum on surround sound with my lovely bride. Driving to Upstate New York tomorrow, hanging out with family and dear friends. On Saturday, it’s off to The Egg with my brother and my nephew to catch The Fab Faux performing Revolver in its entirety. Home on Sunday to sleep for a week.
