Looks like they have found one of these in Canada and will be shipping it out later today (maybe they dug it out from under the snow):

My Dylan is "currently being processed" - I thought it was taking too long until I saw:

Really dig the avatar MeanMrsMustard!

Also I found a seasonal beer called "Ticket to Rye" immediately after picking the Beatles "Love" album this afternoon (after putting it off for years). Kind of had to try it. Very satisfied with both.

In one of the threads there was a discussion about whether Something was written about or for Pattie Boyd, well, i've come across an interview where George answers the question (overdubbed in Japanese) and outright stays it wasn't about anyone specific (7:15 onwards in the clip below). George seems to say that Isn't It A Pity was however.

[I forget which subject it was or the thread title (searching for "something" won't be much use), if someone remembers i'll copy this over or someone can move it.]

Seriously, feck off. And you can take your limited edition creme eggs, hot cross buns and all that other Easter-related junk and shove it in the back stores until the 6th of April, leaving 2 weeks to shove it down our throats.

In case you haven't stumbled across it yet in your trek through the mighty forest that is this forum, there is a wonderful thread called Beatley Moments for these kinds of stories.

I dislike greetings cards, one reason being a waste of a tree (if not recycled paper). If you are going to send someone a card then make it an ecard; put some thought and time into it and design it yourself as well instead of the cheesy, tacky messages cards normally have and spending 3 seconds picking it out.

A few years back Apple made Beatles ecards available for free so i sent those instead, no idea if they are still going or not.

You had me laughing out loud with "I dislike greeting cards". a-hard-days-night-paul-3

The bad news: Amazon Canada were just BSing me when they said they were 'processing' the order for my Dylan 47 CD box.

The good news: They assure me they will send it out today with a free upgrade to priority delivery - given this is a BIG box I couldn't afford this option before so it is around a $40 bonus.

In the world of making fruit scones it would be helpful to add the sugar and the fruit before putting them in the oven. Who knows how they will come out, certainly not fruity.

And you all thought only twitter and facebook had pointless, dull posts!

Is it a rule here that you have to have a Beatles-related avatar picture or is the fact that everybody has a Beatles-related avatar just the way things worked out?

I'm not thinking about changing my avatar at the moment, I'm just curious.

I'm Necko.  I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

Nope. No such ruling exists here, folks are free to use whatever they want, within reason. It just happens to be a Beatles Forum so Beatles related avatars will be more common than non-Beatles.

Oh. I thought so.

I should really put more statements in here and less questions.

Surprise, surprise - now they tell me they don't have any - yet it was sent to a friend by them 2 days ago who ordered after me - bunch of clowns.  Back on the waiting list limbo for a while :(

Good news everyone, I have made it in the acting world (apparently) Seems as if I was on the television for a play I did a while ago, my phone was just buzzing with people saying 'you're on the telly'. The only people have ever heard on the telly is my phone so seeing my face is like a-hard-days-night-ringo-6Well good on them for broadcasting it after the watershed, I think little children would be crying if they saw my face brian-epstein

I know he shouldn't really be mentioned here, but - Justin Beiber... LMAO!

"Why... why are you stopping superstar me? Yes, I've been drinking, smoked some dope, mixed with prescriptions drugs, and am going at twice the speed limit as I race my friend, but I'm Justin Beiber!"

Oh feck, I love the mugshot!

Was he so stoned he thought he  arrived at another photoshoot?

Congratulations, ASJ! What was it, when was it shown, and can it be found anywhere.

And don't do the bit about having an after-the-watershed face here! We all know you're beautiful!
