RIP Allan Arbus. I also didn’t know that he was 95…or that he’d been married to Diane Arbus.
Really enjoying owning a laptop by taking it outside on the balcony FOR THE FIRST TIME on the fifth or sixth really nice day of the year! I only got it back in October when it was already too unpleasant to want to sit outside for long enough to bother. It’s my first laptop, my main (and preferred) computer is still broken. I’m always a wave or two behind everyone else technologically. Look forward to caving and buying my first smartphone or tablet in about 4-5 years, by which time everyone else will be wandering around with Google glasses, no doubt.
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Offline I’m not sure the google glasses thing has been around, but there’s a professor at my school who has invented something called eyetap (several decades ago I think) that’s pretty much the same thing. You’re not really sure what to say when you see him for the first time lol. He’s also invented a new class of instruments called hydraulophones that are really cool.

Offline Emelia Sands has broken the record long held by Please Please Me of longest stay on the LP charts with her debut album. Didnt know they held the record previously and dont care they dont now. Offline Anyone else get strange food cravings? I have the want for a bowl of All Bran yet i hate All Bran, tastes of bark and always goes soggy and forms a revolting sludge. Thankfully there is none in the house.

Offline Yeah, that happens to me. There are some things that just smell so good, I wish I liked eating them, but I don’t. Every once in a while, I’ll decide I don’t dislike it anymore and eat it, only to make me realize that I will never like it. The only things I can think of that I do that with are strawberries, and blueberries. I know there’s more things I do that with, but that’s all I can think of.

Offline Strawberries are a luxury here, they only grown them on mountains where the temperature is cool, and it’s a very meticulous process. They sell them for $5 a kilo, at the mountains, and they won’t even last the trip down.

Offline Keeping the food theme i eat my first pieces of chocolate today for the first time in 9 1/3 years. Tasted really good at the time but now i feel weird, probably getting used to it and too early in the morning.
