That’s the one! Thanks MMM. I had a complete brain-fade, couldn’t remember much at all about it. Brilliant.

Here’s what I wanted it for: a custom error page. It’s the little things in life…

I kind of want to find an error page just to see that masterpiece.

I think it's great you're going through a phase,

and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple

of days

I did this morning. I saw that pic and said to myself, “That Joe is pretty sharp!”. Then I saw the posts above and laughed out loud.

Well done (again!) Joe. george-martin

And kudos as well to mmm for finding the pic!brian-epstein

Zig – what on earth happened to your Yankees yesterday? And, also, have you seen the Pittsburgh Philly series? WTF!

I know! I turned the game off when they were down 7-0 and decided to watch HELP!. When the movie was over, I discovered the game was still on and they were winning 15-9. I saw a great movie but missed a glorious comeback over the Red Sox. Not too shabby eh?

And, also, have you seen the Pittsburgh Philly series? WTF!

Yeah, there has been a lot of great playoff hockey so far. Your Senators look like last year’s Bruins – getting hot at the right time with a goaltnder who is playing out of his mind.

Anyone know if the 1966 Germany, Japan, & Philipines Tour had a nice snappy title or is it known as  ‘The 1966 Germany, Japan, & Philipines Tour’?

To the best of my knowledge, tours outside of England and the US were referred to as World Tours. Not too snappy, but it works.

I thought 1966 World Tour but since they only went to 3 countries didnt think it warrented a World Tour title so went for 1966 Germany, Philippines and Japan Tour. But then how many countries does it take to make a World Tour? 2, 3, 4, 143? a-hard-days-night-ringo-7

Thanks Zig.a-hard-days-night-john-6

They only did one world tour, in 1964. I’m not sure the 1966 dates had a name. They were quite spread out.

The ’66 [world] tour was something like 13 days in 3 countries. Maybe its better to refer to it as the Germany, Philippines and Japan Tour. Who knows?

Have just discovered that Give My Regards To Broad Street is on youtube. Having not seen it for a very long time will give it a view. Surely it cant be any worse than the dreadful soundtrack.

Anyone know of any rare beatles stuff on youtube worth seeing?

I always enjoy seeing the tour videos – there was one from Munich (?) in 66 that was great.
As well, is it weird that I played a rugby game on Thursday, and I’m still sore? And I’ve got two games next week. I’m happy, but my body really isn’t.

Sun King , there is a football team (soccer for those in the US) who have to play 6 matches in 6 days ending with a cup final on Thursday. The coach said the players were already feeling it after a long season and that was before the 6 game run started. They appealed for an extention but the English Football Association refused. And these arent full time professionals, its amateurs who have to go to work, college or university during the week.

This is nothing to do with anything, (EDIT: although I guess that is the point of this thread…) but I’m going to Liverpool tomorrow!
Current itinerary includes Penny Lane , Strawberry Fields, St Peters Church, The Cavern, Mendips, 20 Forthlin Road and The Beatles Story museum, as well as other Liverpool sightseeing. The most jampacked two days ever, should be awesome. a-hard-days-night-john-1

Sun King , the Munich show was a strange one but enjoyable, tho needs to be seen to be trully appreciated. The performance of Nowhere Man is probably the best live verson of that song they gave yet I’m Down, a few songs later, is such a mess its one of my favourites they ever did in concert.

Thanks Zig!!

I dont’ mean to be rude but it amuses me a lot to see how the rest of the world celebrates a Mexican landmark… while in Mexico there’s only a nice parade and renactment of the Battle in Puebla. That doesn’t stop me of having some beers and nachos tonight. a-hard-days-night-paul-11a-hard-days-night-paul-11

Now this is just awesome. Please read it with a heavy English or American accent.

Heh, that image is great. It’s just the way I’d try to learn a new language, with clumsy phonetics.
