Mick Jagger was seen eating at the Italian restaurant that my winter formal date and I, plus a few other couples, went to last month. Mick Jagger of all people! Why wasn't he there when I was?!?

I have no idea why, it's kind of a rinky-dink cheesy ninth-grade-winter-formal-dinner-date Italian place. And my tiramisu was a bit soggy. If I had as much money as Mick Jagger, there is no way I'd go there. Maybe he likes soggy tiramisu?a-hard-days-night-ringo-7

 Priceless.

Sad to see that Frank Carson has died aged 85. I liked him and found him funny mainly because he played up to making bad jokes and was always cheerful, a bit different to most of what was around at the time. A gentle comedian who didnt have to swear to make a joke, something of a rariety nowadays.

Anyone have any opinion on the release of beatles ringtones on itunes? Personally i dont see the point of paying 99p for a clip of a beatle song you already own to have on your apple device, especially when most phones allow you to select one of the songs from your music library anyway.

I wouldn't dream of buying it but plenty will. Ringtone (I just typed Ringotone, which is a much better name) sales are massive – it's one of the mysteries to music industry execs why teenagers will happily pay for a ringtone sample of a song but will object to paying for the whole version, preferring instead to illegally download it. (That's a generalisation, obviously.)

It makes no sense to me, but hey – it is what it is.

Anyone play/watch rugby? I've on my school team, and the practices are brutal. But, I'm willing to do it. And I get to go to The East Coast this spring. I love the East Coast.

I tried to think of something powerful and moving… and failed.

I only watch rugby when Scotland are entertaining to watch in the 6 Nations but recently we've been a right mess. Im not a big enough fan of the sport to watch it regularly and its hard enough watching the national football team.

I love that Feist was being posted up there. I remember that 1234 was on an iPod advert a few years back, but I never knew she was Canadian. a-hard-days-night-george-4

I'm exactly the opposite. I buy my music–iTunes if just one or two songs, CD if I want the whole album, and use generic ringtones since my low-tech phone won't upload them. That's the only bit about it that bothers me, since I like my music; otherwise I'm fine with my old phone. These hyper-technological, touch-screen-4G- internet-and-word-processer-and-100-gigabytes-of-memory iPhone things irritate me. Is it really necessary?

I was given a smart phone and the more i use it the more frustrating it is. There is a shortcut where if you get a text or miss a phone call you can drag down the top left of the screen to get the details. Simple. However if you dont press it in the exact right place another screen will appear. Its so darn fiddly it takes longer and just makes you annoyed. Plus finding anything takes a day, somehow the onscreen clock has disappeared and who knows where its located to get it back.

Remember my puppy George?

Well he's all grown up now. We went for his first walk today and he was all excited. I'd have taken Paul but he needs a large dog chain. (He's a pitbull)

Here they are. Paul and George.

(Sorry I removed the other pic because a  neighbor's house number was visible)

Very loveable dogs Mith. Both look so darn cute and friendly, and very inquisitive looking down. For the sheer adorable factor they both deserve an apple each apple01apple01 (not that dogs eat apples).

Yes! That's Jack!  My sister has 8 dogs, all of them are adopted. Well George is mine but he lives with my sister. My Dad wouldn't stand a dog inside our house. And today I told her to take him with us in our daily walk. He was all excited jumping around. a-hard-days-night-george-10

And thanks for the apples!!! heart

Kelicopter – born and Bred! Eastern girl, and, of course, is famous for that ad. Actually, the CBC (Canadian BBC) named 1234 the most essential Canadian song of the 2000's in November for their 75th anniversary.
God, really bad walking home today. At least it's a weekend again.

I'm meeting the rock 'n' roll band The Who tomorrow. I'm bloody nervous, so wish me luck!

You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.

It was blowing snow all over the place – I couldn't even see five feet in front of me. And it was cold. At least three otherrs were accompanying me; misery loves company. (And Kelicopter, I don't even sometimes remember people are Canadian – I never remember Rufus Wainright is Canadian, but hey – sure glad he is!!)
