OfflineI think I'll go to bed when I'm tired, because it gets annoying trying to fall asleep and not being able to. And then at the airport, invest in a mega-ginormously large coffee or two. I'll see how I feel I guess around 10 or 11. My friend found this flight for me, and when she heard me balk a bit she was like "Oh come on, you're tough, you can dig it!" So we'll see just how well I can. I'll probably be running off of fumes and adrenaline by the time I land where I need to be.
I'd go to bed a little early, then wake up and work through it. I think if I did an all-nighter I'd feel totally wretched upon arrival. Gone are the days when I could stay up all night – I don't think I've done it for nearly 20 years.
Personally I think any sleep is always a good thing, the more the better. I'm a big fan.

I just can't wait to see it. I saw it when I was 14 and I was literally blown away. I remember having my hand closed in my mouth biting my lips in the famous steps scene. I hope they bring it soon. I'm still waiting for Metropolis extended edition …… BTW I love those Kubrick-esque titles at the begining
Trivia question : Which very underrated Brian de Palma film copied the famous baby in a stroller going down the steps scene?

OfflineThat's ok. You should watch The Untouchables. Ennio Morricone's awesome soundtrack, Kevin Costner and Andy Garcia at their prime, and one of the best Seansh Connerysh performanshes.
Did I mention Ennio Morricone's awesome soundtrack?
Man.. now I feel a craving for spaghetti western. This is one of the best songs from a movie EVER.
Even the captcha agrees. *17*
Oh, I just thought I'd mention that I'm not going to be on Beatles Bible for about 5 days, starting January 9th. We're going to Sydney, woot! I'll make sure to find P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, of course.
It's my first time on a plane. How sad is that? I'm a deprived child…

OfflineSo it sounds like now that Mtv won't be showing music anymore and that it will just show crappy reality shows like Jersey Shore forever. Whatever happened to the majority of the public having actual taste?

I don't think the official MTV channel plays anything anymore, but apparently there are like 5 different MTV channels, and a few of them actually playing decent music. (I don't have cable so I wouldn't really know, though. Heard this from friends.)
But seriously, what's the appeal of Jersey Shore? I haven't seen an episode of it but from the looks of it it looks like it's about some orange, "attractive" midget-lady who dates a bunch of stupid-looking, greasy haired douchebags.

OfflineI remember when I used to watch the Real World growing up that the production company was called Mindless Television and that's exactly what reality TV is. It creates a false reality within the viewer and makes them feel like they are "part of the show" by having a specific camera angle and things like a confession room. The viewer gets the "inside scoop" of what's really going down in the house, and therefore they find these relatively uninteresting people absolutely fascinating. The sad part is how much these people get paid just by appearing on these shows, they get paid more than teachers and, you know, important people do.

OfflineWho needs mtv when you have youtube.com?
Anyway. Do you remember when we measured time according to Beatle albums? I've just discovered that I can clean the windows of my Dad's and my nephew's room, my computer, my desk (which is a huge task), dust my Dad's room and reorganize my desk, have lunch, with a White Album, a Revolver, a Rubber Soul, an Abbey Road, a Please please me, 2 times Band on the Run, and a compilation of 20 songs from Beatles solo work.
I'm exhausted.

OfflineI remember reading something about you guys doing that. And later that day when my track coach asked how fast I run my miles, I told him, "In about a Christmas Time (Is Here Again), or Hey Jude, depending." He had no idea what I was talking about.
