Just heard about this band. Just heard their second album Anthem of The Sun yesterday, it was fun.

What do you think??? a-hard-days-night-paul-3

While they aren't for everyone, I've been a fan for a long time. I only got to see them live twice. The first was in 1982 at a small 4,800 seat arena in Glens Falls, NY. The second was about a year or so before Jerry died, at a huge open-air venue in Phoenix that holds at least 20,000.

Both shows were fantastic. For now, I have a couple of compilation albums and Jerry's first solo album (very good, IMHO). I have been meaning to bulk up my collection soon.

Um, didnt you refer to Super Furry Animal's Hometown Unicorn as "Weezer singing The Grateful Dead (I love both)"? Anyway, I haven't heard much, but I love what I've heard.

I tried to think of something powerful and moving… and failed.  "You were given a choice between war and dishonor - you chose dishonor, and you shall have war" - Winston Churchill

I certainly did. That's why I need to bulk up my collection.
