The Long And Winding Road (school assignment sorta mandates a cheesy song.)

Edit: I'm not really on a Beatles kick. Really, An Evening in Roma or Ain't That A Kick In The Head, by Dean Martin, are more my current taste.

I'm learning Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton so that's the one right now. Really sad song, but also very beautiful.

Am on a bbc recordings obsession and Sure To Fall was particularly hard to get past. The guitar solo by Georgeheart

(And before anyone else pulls the same trick on me, no, I'm not on a "Mean Mr. Mustard" kick. I just like the way "MeanMrsMustard" sounds as a screen name.)

Not-so-shockingly, I'm still on a Beatles kick; one that's been happening for a long while now.

But recently I've also found an interest in the Rutles.

Long Tall Sally. Paul's voice defines Rock n Roll in this song.

Any of the early stuff, especially their cover of "Money (That's what I Want)" and "You Can't Do That." Listening to all the albums in order gives you a new appreciation for the stuff you used to not like as much, or maybe just overlooked. It also makes you appreciate how much acid they took in between Rubber Soul and Revolver. Just throwing that out there. Happy listening! apple01

Martha My Dear has been stuck in my head all day!

Overall, I'm really getting into Paul's "Granny" songs. So I'll add in "Your Mother Should Know" and "When I'm Sixty-Four".

Because the wind is high, it blows my mind.

The Anthology version of "A Day In The Life". I listened to it 3 times during my drive to work this morning!a-hard-days-night-john-7
