Oh and songs I've got stuck in my head all the time lately: I Want To Hold Your Hand (I haven't listened to that in aaaaaages so it sounds fresh now)

Try the German version, Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand -- so much better, I think.  It's what the song should have been...

I've heard it multiple times, heard Sie lieb dich too, but -no offense- I find German to be a very ugly and agressive sounding language.

And okay guys, you've totally convinced me to read it.

I kind of agree -- which makes me wonder, wouldn't it be cool if "Helter Skelter" were belted out in ugly aggressive German!

Right Now I'm hooked to the Revolver album. The guitar solo on Taxman fascinates me and I'm Only Sleeping is another great song.

Yeah Rammstein style!

The past few days I've been listening a lot to Norwegian Wood and Sexy Sadie. I really used to hate the latter one, don't know why I like it all of a sudden

The Rishikesh Song.

My favourite song is 'Stairway to Heaven' by Motley Crue on their 1876 album 'Yellow Submarine'.

Just borrowed Band on the Run from the library so I'm listening to it while working on a school assignment. I appreciate the title track much more now that I've seen the video.

In the car, I'm on an Abbey Road kick.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 Nothing wrong with that. Paul's named it as his favourite Beatles song on occasion. "Just because it's so insane..."

"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been..  I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene..  Banjos!  Banjos!  All the time, I can't forget that tune..  and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

OMG, have you guys ever listened to the "Yellow Submarine Songtrack" version of "Love You To"?? With the overdubbed fuzz guitar drone throughout in the left channel??

AWES

Where did this recording come from? An instrument left out of the original mix, for some reason? This deserves a thread of its own!

Seriously...add that mix of the song along with "Rain" to an expanded version of Revolver and I'm ready to proclaim it "the greatest guitar album in the history of amplification!"...and that's not something I say lightly.

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!" -- Paul McCartney

I'm Only Sleeping because the end of the semester is near and I am tired. I don't want to get out of bed a lot of times. Sometimes I just feel like sitting there, but no...I got to go to work or school or study or clean or whatever.

I can't explain the reason why I'm obsessed with a song at a particular time, but right now it's She Said She Said.

It was always there, just buried deep in the original mix, the YSS remix simply brought it to the surface having gone back to the multitracks.

Gah I love The Happy Rishikesh Song I listen to it purely for the "feel so suicidal, something is wrong" part
