To be honest, you'll always be Von Bontee (or vonbontee) to me!

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

I never introduced myself, and its a bit late now, so it wouldnt be possible to reintroduce myself.

There's always a time for everything.

My username is Gerell, it is a portmanteau of my first name: Gerard Israel. Gerell is also my nickname, and here in my country, the Philippines, nicknames come to stay longer than normal, it almost lasts until you start working professionally. The "Israel" in my name comes from a different story, and as far as I know I don't have an Israeli heritage. In fact my mother is Chinese by blood and my father is Filipino. Unlike your typical oriental Asian I am different, but I do have a fair complexion, and my black hair is hard to describe. My hair can be straight when it's wet (nothing special haha), curly if I let it dry normally, and wavy if I comb it, right now my hair is long because schools don't allow boys to have long hair, but since I am at university right now, they don't give a damn and I am enjoying my freedom. I am almost 17 years old and currently taking up Psychology and yes you can go to the university as early as 16 years old.

I listen to a few genres of music mainly classical and the variants of blues of course I listen to the Beatles as well. Because of my passion for music I decided to learn how to play the piano classically. One piece I am fairly proud of is Chopin's Nocturne Op.9 No.2 in Eb Major. I am currently exploring new instruments and I want to learn how to play the bass guitar. My dad plays the guitar fairly better than everyone that I personally know, he has a guitar lying around the house. So know I know the basics of playing an acoustic guitar, I even know how to play Blackbird now which I thought was impossible. I can't afford a Hofner (no umlaut on my keyboard)  so I'll make do with the guitar.

I can speak three languages and I want to learn more, specifically French and German. And if I had the time I would extend my knowledge with other languages in the language family.

Nothing to say much about the Beatles, as I am just your typical Beatle fan. I follow Paul's solo career the most and I don't have a favourite song nor album. I could say that I am a self-confessed audiophile and anglophile. I love watching Monty Python and Blackadder. I am really eccentric and I don't want to say more about myself.

EDIT: I couldn't resist so I'll add a wee bit more. I have been playing Runescape since 2005. I play a lot of video games, mainly the RPG ones like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy and the like. I am also fond of playing word games. But if you want an actual game, I do play Table Tennis and by the way, I am not as good as the Chinese when it comes to Ping Pong.

EDIT 2: Filipinos are notorious for watching television all day, and I have come to be a fan of some shows. Local shows are junk here though. As a young child I was fascinated with the vampire culture whether mainstream or not. The only thing I want to divulge here is that I watch The Vampire Diaries even though it's a show mostly oriented for girls.

I haven't been away from here, anyway, I'll keep it brief :)

Am Emily, from a town called Sutton Coldfield near to Birmingham in the West Midlands, England.

I got into The Beatles about 18 months ago now and my life has changed completely, for the better, of course.

Hope to study Psychology once I leave school (2 years) at Chester University, preferably. Chester is 30 min. from Liverpool :D BONUS!!!

Parents think I spend a bit too much time on here haha (I don't think so).

Spend my afternoons listening to music (I listen to lot's and lot's of different styles of music/artists), practising guitar, baking and, above all, doing coursework.

Hello :)

What's the origin of the numbers?

Re-introducing, because I'm procratinating (I should be studying right now):

I'm Linde (yep as in Lindentree, except for the tree and the N part). I just turned 19 one and a half week ago. I'm from Holland and currently I'm following adult education, as I failed my pre-university exams last year. I've signed in to study social work.

My best subjects are English and Civics, my worst is Maths. Absolutely. I just hate it so much.

Erm..about a month ago I started working at a supermarket, since I've got plenty of time since school is only 2 days a week.

I can enjoy almost every genre of music but my faves are rock, folk and metal.

Favourite foods are pizza and sushi and my favourite colour is burgundy red.

Around people I don't know well I can be quite shy and I'm also a very insecure person. I always want to please everyone and that sometimes brings me into awful situations.

My hobbies are reading, drawing, shopping and hanging out with friends. I love partying and booze and stuff but I can also just go for a picknick and have a great time.

I was practically raised on music such as the Beatles, Queen and stuff like that. I was always especially fond of the Beatles, and a few years ago I started to listen more to their music and became fascinated with them. And then I found this forum after a whileahdn_george_08

Oh, now I get it.

Yeah, I added those numbers to my signature hoping they would act as a sort of 'Bat Signal' luring them back to the Forum. It worked with MeanMrsMustard, so I'm hoping for the same result with skye and mr. Sun king coming together. There are a lot more folks I would love to see back around here as well, but I will start with the first 3 and see how that goes. :)

Whenever I see Linde, I think of the famous American comedian Paul Lynde (tragically died before his time -- 1982, at the age of 56).  Even young people who never saw him during his heyday in the 70s can (and do) easily dial up YouTubes of his appearances on the game show Hollywood Squares occupying his prestigious post as the "center square".  His one-liners and zingers still bring a grin to my face.

If you're into 'toons, he was also the voice of Templeton the rat in the 70s Charlotte's Web movie and the Hooded Claw in Penelope Pitstop.
