She’s not my thing, but yesterday, I went to the Grammy Museum exhibit on her with my friend who is a huge Taylor Swift fan. It’s a great exhibit. I have more respect for her now, it was good to see her through the eyes of an admirer.

Offline My lack of knowledge of pop-culture. I was in a student council meeting a couple of months back with fellow students and they were talking about how great loom bands are. Now I have no idea what the hell these things are apparently they can be made into bracelets?
I’m 16, I have no excuse to not know what is ‘hip’ with the kids these days, I don’t really know top 40 music, I rarely (if ever) read young adult books and I think I only saw 2 new films this year (Jimmy’s Hall and Boyhood). I declare myself a ‘lost cause’.

Offline Loom bands are some cheap bracelets kids make which are bought in packs of a hundreds and make the creator(s) an absolute fortune. I only know this after getting a long explanation from my brother whose kid got into the craze of making them.
I have zero knowledge of the current cool scene, whats new in music, whats in the cinema or who’s hot celeb wise. I’m proud of that as the last thing i wish to be is hip with the scene.

Same here. Snow everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Except here. I actually got a bit hopeful when it started snowing this morning, but then I checked the temperature and saw it was only that wet crap.
I hope it will snow on New Years Eve. Or storm. Yes, storm. I hate fireworks. Well, the ones you can actually see are beautiful, but all that other crap that makes a lot of noise is just literally blowing up your money in my eyes.

To be honest, I’d rather die than eat my books. If I die, nothing is really lost but if the books get eaten that their information is lost forever (until you buy a new copy of course), that and paper doesn’t give me all the vitamins and minerals I need.

Offline I could kill the fly, crush it and spread it like butter over the fly and consume it getting some protein and essential Vitamin Cotton in the process.

Offline I think you’d be better to kill the fly and then wrap it in the flag so it was like a pig in a blanket. You’d get all the benefits of the fly instead of only bits if you spread it.
