Little Piggy Dragonfly said Are you still bitter about him taking over the spot of the original JB? I was a little upset about it at first too, but the Jo Bros were already dying out when J. Biebs came around.

No, never listened to either of those people. Never really heard of whoever the Jo Bros are.

Are they the ones who had the fidelity rings or whatever the exact name is? I’ve never heard their music.

Yeah, purity rings, and you’re really missing out. They are great. I recommend Time For Me To FlyBurnin’ Up and World War III

(You prob won’t like them, though; my intuition tells me you’ll think they’re garbage)

I doubt they are aimed at my ears.

Did you have a childhood? They had two shows on Disney Channel and were on an episode of Hannah Montana and in both Camp Rock movies. They also used to get airplay on the radio occasionally.

I guess I didn’t, I was too busy watching The Adventures of Superman, Zorro, and Popeye when I was a child.

I’ve heard about them through people complaining about their music, and that didn’t exactly entice me to have a listen myself… Sorry.a-hard-days-night-paul-10

Justin Bieber types have been around forever. When I was a kid, the girls flipped over the likes of Bobby Sherman, Davy Jones of The Monkees and Donny Osmond. Every generation has them. It’s all the same music, only the names change. If you like that sort of thing, I say more power to you. Like what you like and to Hell with those who disapprove.

Agree, Zig !! Hey, Davy was my first love at age five. LOL!! He was followed in due course by David Cassidy then Donny Osmond.

I still follow Donny. He’s still very much working, just released another album last year. He’s a total sweetheart and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him several times over the years. Good man. I don’t believe in guilty pleasures. Heck, if something gives you pleasure, and you enjoy it, don’t feel guilty. It’s all good. I do not judge. Haha!!

Ahhhhh yes, how could I have forgotten David Cassidy? At that age, I was quite smitten with Susan Dey.

I’m pretty sure we had childhoods.  When I had mine, there was no such thing as Hannah Montana or the Disney Channel.  So… maybe perspective is in order.

My childhood consisted of The Beatles, My Chemical Romance, Biffy Clyro and Blur. So, no.

I said that with prior knowledge of Evangelica’s age, and she was born just in time to be brainwashed by the Disney Channel.

School House Rock. Now we’re talking. No one in my senior class would have graduated without being able to sing the preamble of the Constitution thanks to the Schoolhouse Rock. We had to write the preamble out from memory. You could hear all of us humming it while writing it out.
