OfflineMy inner skeptic has me, well, skeptical. We're talking about someone who was treated for kidney failure in 2001, so who knows how long he's had failing kidneys, and he's been hiding out in caves for the last ten or so years? He's probably been dead for years, but just now, as the war is expanding and the American people need to get behind these wars, out comes a story that is supposed to make us feel like they really are just doing a fantastic job and all of these wars have been justified. So can we get out of Afghanistan now? Wasn't he the reason we invaded in the first place? Ah yes, we're "spreading democracy" by killing at least a million reported innocent civilians, save me.

OfflineMy first thought was, "if this is true, I hope it provides some type of closure for those who lost loved ones at the hands of this guy."
Then I thought, "OK, so who is the next villain going to be in this never ending merry-go-round?" Does anyone in their right mind really think this ends here?
Meanwhile gasoline prices are still hovering around $4.00 a gallon here and higher elsewhere, millions of U.S. jobs are being outsourced to other countries which means millions here are either jobless, homeless or both.
Sorry- color me unimpressed.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, Let it roll for all its worth.

OfflineI agree with Zig. I mean, if he's actually dead, I'm glad he's gone and this provides some closure for the people who suffered in September 11th.
A dear friend of mine didn't lose anybody, but she had to go through that day of horror in NY. So, I feel that sad day very close.

Poor fellow. I heard that the whole thing may be a fake, though. I hope he is alive.
Tell me you hope he is alive so he could be brought to justice, and not anything else.

OfflineAnd so it begins, the alleged corpse picture of bin Laden was faked. They really do not make it easy to believe in their bullshit.
I like how they've presented this too, like Obama personally killed him…not too far before the next campaigns will begin either. Just brilliant how everyone benefits from this.

OfflineYeah, really – I'd rather have seen him on trial in a crowded NYC courtroom. But I'm certainly not mourning him.
Anyway, I'll bet Obama's wishing that today was Election Day in the U.S. and not just here in Canada!

Actually, I hope he's alive for himself. What does anyone benefit from his killing? Besides, his son and other people were killed in this "mission". The soldiers should have captured Osama, and put him into court. I can't believe USA actually is declaring willingly that they have made an assassination-and making it seem like it's a good thing. Killing people won't stop the killing of others. Furthermore, now Bin Laden will gain the status of a martyr and this will cause more attacks.

OfflineNo, because those who had family killed get closure and the knowledge they are getting justice. Let's say he gets tried. He would just be given the death penalty. He dies no matter what.

Edit: Yes, I will swear. Live with it. My message to Bin Ladin: BURN IN HELL SCUMBAG.

I could never rejoice about someone getting killed … whoever they may be.
Same here. I'm going to opt out of the celebrations.
