And passed up a chance to see 'em in Toronto in '91 because I actually found Nevermind (which I bought the week it was released) to be (at first) a disappointment compared to the debut. So I went and saw their buddies Mudhoney instead. But Nevermind grew on me, and I played it more and more as "Teen Spirit" became a hit and climbed the charts - even though I had to read about its hit status in the music magazines 'cause I ...

I love Nirvana. They are runner up favorite band. They were favorite for about 5 years before I discovered The Beatles. All three of their studio albums are amazing. I love how Kurt expresses just raw emotion in so many of his songs. Dave Grohl is also an amazing drummer as previously mentioned, and the Foo Fighters are not bad at all either.

Kurt wrote About a Girl after listening to Meet The Beatles over and over.

I didn't know that. About a Girl, the unplugged version, is one of my favorite Nirvana songs.

I am a fan of Dave and the things he works on. He seems like an amazing guy to work with and be around. He's a fan of music which counts for a lot.

I actually love this band. Cobain because he has great taste (Anyone who likes Neil Young and John Lennon are good by me.), Grohl because he seems to like McCartney quite a bit, and because he is a good drummer, and Novoselic for his bass work. Certainly the masters of the 90's, and Cobain's death raises the question of what if?
