Hello Beatle people, walrusgumboot here…I've posted a bit but haven't properly introduced myself so….I live in the woods of middle Tennessee USA with my 13 year old son, who also has excellent taste in music-his current top 3 being A Hard Days Night, I Am The Walrus & Drive My Car….My first memory, at the tender age of 3 1/2, was seeing The Beatles on Ed Sullivan, Feb. '64, and my three older sisters completely losing their minds. And I've loved them ever since. Thanks Joe, for a totally fab website. Cheers.

Hello everybody here

Good to be among some great Beatles people on this forum and I am looking forward to hearing stories and anecdotes, likes and dislikes and any number of things that are of course all Beatlesque.

If anybody knows of somebody who may be interested in having a John Lennon lookalike for any event in the UK just let me know here.

Also if anybody knows how I might be able to post some pictures on the forum I would be very grateful for any advice.

Hope you are all well?

Peace and Love

Howdie, welcome to the site.

Are you by any chance a clone of John? There is a dentist with one of Johns teeth who's looking to make a clone and a few of us here were thinking of putting in a request to get one for a timeshare. Now a lookalike turns up.

Welcome.

If you're looking for business please use the Pimp My Stuff section. Anywhere else and it'll be deleted.

To add an image use the tree icon when you're composing a message (your image needs to be on public webspage somewhere).

I've moved this to the introductions thread.

Please don't spoil my day; I'm miles away

Welcome, silverbeatle. Do you "do" all of the John Lennon "looks," (the young witty moptop, the Sgt. Pepper-era hipster, the macrobiotic bearded sage…) or do you specialize with one phase? A lot of Elvis impersonators can do the chubby, jump-suited Vegas Elvis, but have a hard time pulling off the young, cocky rebel rocker. Post some photos and we'll see. (We're no longer carrying pictures of Chairman Mao.) ;-)

Thank you for the welcome and advice about how to post etc, i will try and post something online later.

My John looks are around the end of The Beatles going into his solo career,so 70's with longer hair and round glasses.

Over the years i have been told i look like him so many times by different people that i decided to test their judgement and become a lookalike. I have some good photo's so if i can upload i will do so and maybe people will be able to see?

I am not a clone of John no, i cannot wait to see what the person that comes from Johns tooth looks like? How is he going to tell people who is father was?

Question: Who was your father

Answer: John Lennon's tooth LOL

Another question how do i add an avatar? can somebody walk me through the procedure?

Oh. My. Heavens. That's so spooky, it kind of becomes funny after a moment.

No. The Beatles biblers are going to block that dentist's cloning non-sense. It just ain't gonna happen.

  1. Scroll up the page and near the top you will see a row of 5 buttons on the right hand side of the screen starting with "Members", click on the one that says "Profile".
  2. On the newly opened page you will see a menu down the left hand side of the page with "overview" in dark blue at the top, go down the list and click on "Edit Avatar".
  3. You now have the option to either upload your avatar from a file on your computer thru "Upload an Avatar" (click browse if you wish to do so, locate the pic or gif on your computer, select open, then "upload avatar") or if from online enter the url in the box below "Select Remote Avatar" and then "save Remote avatar".

I hope that is right and clear.

According to the rules of this fine forum i must not use the site for touting for work. So not wanting to break the rules i have posted a topic on pimp your stuff, so it is in the correct place. So if you would like to see some pictures of me on my facebook page and also my website you may visit them at the correct area of the forum.

Just to add that my avatar is a picture of myself as John too.

Thank you to meanmistermustard for the advice about uploading the avatar, what do people think?

Peace and Love

Phil.

Terve ButterflyChaser (pretty username). You sound like the Finnish version of me, reading books, playing video games, cats and music. I am Katie/ASJ/AppleScruffJunior and I am the Irish George-obsessive fan as is quite obvious by my posts a-hard-days-night-george-10

Welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy yourself, we're (generally) a friendly bunch! :)

Hi Butterfly Chaser; I'm the resident Spelling Naziblue-meanie (thus, your phrase should read "My English skills need practice.").

Welcome aboard the Yellow Submarine: we set sail (a sailing submarine!) for the Octopus's Garden at 0400 hours; it should take us a couple of weeks to get there (according to the Julian Calendar of Eight Days A Week) as long as we follow the Southern Cross in the constellation of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.  Make sure to have your papers ready!

Hey everyone, I am new to this site and thought I should introduce myself.

My name is Dave, I'm 24 years old and I'm from outside Philadelphia. I grew up in a house where the Beatles were played, well, almost everyday. My father is a huge Beatles fan, the biggest I've ever met! He's named my two oldest sisters after Beatles' songs. I play drums and can strum some guitar, I've been playing since I was 3 and still play all the time. But, I can't wait to talk amongst other Beatle fanatics such as myself!
