OfflineWelcome! Michael! I enjoyed your story. I can perfectly relate to what you said about remembering and not learning. The Beatles sort of just… sort of just fit into our lives to complete everything and to pronounce everything good and to shove aside all the bad. And they bond us all! ![]()

OfflineI've been here a few days, but without a proper introduction..
You see, I am only twelve years of age, but I am OBSESSED with the Beatles. My parents are quite a bit older than my peers' parents, so they introduced me to the Beatles since I was born. My brother is twelve years older than me, and he himself had a Beatles obsession when he was close to my age, but mine is much stronger. My mother has grown to hate them now because I talk about them constantly unconciously. My favourite has always been John because he was the "smart one" and I have always been considered a "nerd" because I like to read. I'm quite proud of myself for introducing the Beatles to my best friend, and not just the mainstream songs; her favourite album is The Beatles (The White Album). My mother says I will soon come out of this phase, but I insist it is here to stay. I play guitar, piano, and harmonica, but I am receiving a bass for my 13th birthday. One of my best friends is a grade ahead of me, but we bond over our love for the Beatles (my BEST friend whom I introduced to them just LOVES the Beatles, unlike my other best friend and I who are OBSESSED). Almost every song I learn to play on guitar is a Beatles song, and in the talent show this year I performed I'm Only Sleeping. I can already tell I will like this website because I can talk about the Beatles all I want and no one tells me to stop talking about them, like my mother.

you have just written down my feelings! I'm 13 and am trying to learn guitar. I talk about them so much… at my school confrence, the subject even turns to the Beatles. It's great… You are lucky to have a non-online friend who's obsessed with them! All my friends love them, but they think about me more than them as a band. Oh well, welcome! ![]()

OfflineI'm a brazilian 17 year old fabfanatic and I feel very privileged. On April 25th I will watch my second McCartney concert!
I just got accepted in a University in Florianopolis-SC(UFSC), and in the same day I discovered that Paul's Tour is coming to the same city.
He is definily my favorite beatle and he really seems to enjoy playing here. He presented the magnanimous Up And Coming Tour in 2010 and 2011,playing in 4 different cities. Now his coming again with the new On Tour concert. Believe, here in my country, that's really not common.
When I say I am a incondicional beatles fan I surprise some people.
I listen and play(very bad) jazz and classical music, and listen compulsively things like Radiohead and Lcd Soundsystem. But nothing moves me more than the Beatles. Maybe that just shows the power of their music. Think about all kind of musical tastes, the fab four can fit in every one of them!
In general, the 60's culture it's really influential for me, but the role they played doesn't extend to just one decade. McCartney and Ringo(in a lower level) concerts are one of the proofs of that.

OfflineThank you, RevolvingPiggies! I have always had a feeling there would be someone my age on here, not just a bunch middle-aged people (no offense, middle-aged people)! My friend has a harder time with her obsession because the people she hangs out with (other than me) make fun of the Beatles and call her favourite, Paul, Paul McCatheter (funny, but hurtful…)!
I'm new here also but have been a Beatles fan since I saw them on the Ed Sullivan show. So you can tell how old I am. I have the Something New Something New album I got for Christmas when it came out so that' my only Beatle memento.
George has always been my favorite. We were discussing Beatle's trivia at work and someone sent my this link so I thought I what it's about. Doesn't seem to be much going on now.
