OfflineOk ummmm…. I'm Hannah from Kentucky, I'm 13 and I love the 60s.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to post too much because I'm taking a few high school classes in school next year, and since I'm only in middle school (the world of bad musical tastes) I've got to study alot.

OfflineHi! My name's Jayme, I'm 17 (18 in September), and I live in a small town in Wyoming (a place of God-forsaken musical taste. And cold, can't forget the cold.) Oh, and I love The Beatles, of course! I'm generally a very introverted person; I spend a lot of time thinking, writing, and drawing. I have always been much more interested in the past than the present, the stories and histories of things and people fascinate me. Because of this I am considering majoring in history when I go to college in a year or so. Now, at the risk of being boring, here's my story about how I came to love The Beatles:
Back in February of 1964 my mother had just turned seven. She turned on her tiny black and white T.V. to The Ed Sullivan Show, and saw The Beatles for the very first time, instantly falling in love. To quote her, "They sang 'I Want to Hold Your Hand', and I wanted to hold their hands." After that The Beatles, along with The Beach Boys and Elvis, became the soundtrack of her teenage years, providing an escape from a less than happy childhood.
My brother and I grew up hearing this story, and my mother certainly made it her mission to pass her love of music on to us. Strangely, though, while we could sing every word of every Beach Boys song ever made, she never really listened to the Beatles very much. I knew a few of their songs, but I wasn't really a fan. Then, last year, I bought Beatles Rockband. My brother and I played it for hours every day for a week. I count it among the best purchases I've ever made, because that was what it took to spark my interest. However late a start, now I'm a die-hard Beatles fan!

My birthday is also in September! High five. And you sound similar to me! All I do is draw and think, lol. But I generally get more lost in thoughts about the future rather than the past, unless I’m daydreaming about being Paul’s girlfriend.
Welcome!
So, which Beatle is your “favorite”?

OfflineWelcome Desmond!! My name is Mith, here's an apple to you. We always welcome newbies with an apple
So say guys which Beatle albums is your favorite so far? Don't worry, the answer to this question changes a lot. 1 year ago my favorite was Revolver. Now I'm again in an Abbey Road kick.

OfflineHello everyone!
My name is Declan, and I'm a seventeen (well, sixteen until this Tuesday) year old lad living in Melbourne, Australia.
I started listening to the Beatles obsessively when I was about fourteen, something that was triggered by a conversation with my parents about this 60's band that I had only really heard of. Over the next year or so I managed to gather all the albums as mp3s, and am in currently in the process of collecting all of the albums on vinyl. Woo!
This is the first time I've ever really been involved in any kind of forum, apart from the occasional Beatles group on our dear friend Facebook. However, no one seems to use them very much, on my favourite forum I seem to be one of only three active users… Ugh.
I've proudly managed to covert a few of my friends to Beatlemaniacs, which is nice because it means I actually have people to discuss Beatles things with. However, they tend to tire of my constant ramblings, so I have now turned my obsession onto the Internet! Hurrah!
So, yeah. That's me. I hope to post as much as I can, because I love to talk about all kinds of Beatles crap. Oh, and while I'm at it, I might as well get your people's help on something… I'm currently making a sort of Beatles timeline for my wall, mainly made up of photographs with little captions here and there, but I need some sort of Beatley phrase to start the timeline. In contrast to 'The End' at, well, the end. So what phrase should I use? I thought about 'A Beginning,' but I don't really like it… sort of too obscure, I guess?
Anyway, I'm sure you will all treat me kindly and make me feel welcome, and I hope I can be a valuable contributor to the forum!
P.S. I love all these emoticons at the bottom – such a range to choose from! Only, I can't seem to post them…
Hey, another Melburnian! Welcome to the forum!

That's what I love about the internet. It's easy to find people who are as obsessed as yourself.

OfflineYes, I figure I can continue to output my fandom here until it runs out… Which I'm sure it never will.
Now, allow me to resemble a technologically disabled grandmother for a moment as I ask – how do you quote people, like you did me? As I said, I'm really very new to this forum business. Also, I still can't attach those little smileys… Gosh, I'm hopeless.
There'll be a button that says 'Quote' above each post on here. If you want to quote someone, click the 'Quote' button above the post that you want.
The smileys should just attach to the message when you click on them. If that's not working, it might be a problem with your browser.

Ah, there we go. I saw that button, but it didn't want to work for me…
And it seems those emoticons have decided to make me look like an idiot by spontaneously working…
