OfflineWelcome bt8257 ! This Forum is a wise and wonderful place, full of intelligent discussion, fun and Humour. My name is mr. sun king coming together, but you can just call me Sun King. I don't really have a Favourite Beatle. Also, The Zigtionary, is a encyclopedia of most of our inside jokes, compiled so that people like you don't become lost, and confused by us. /forum/forum-rules-and-help-guides/the-zigtionary/

OfflineHello I'm Let's pretend we just can't see her face, I was referred over here after wondering around for a while. Let's see, I can't remember the last day I went without listening to The Beatles. I'm a huge George Harrison fan! I spend most of my free time reading books and articles about The Beatles so needless to say this is just perfect for me. I recently spent my birthday watching Paul McCartney in concert and it was just amazing! I currently live in The States. In a few months I'm headed over to Liverpool for a long awaited journey. Can't wait to see more of this site!

OfflineI was skimming through earlier introductions and I guess I forgot to include some things. I've been listening to The Beatles all my life (literally my mom had headphones of The Beatles playing on her belly). Needless to say I was always that weird kid that sang songs only my teachers knew. I don't know if there are many people close to my age on this site but it's ok. I'm in my mid 20s and I've always met big Beatles fans who are either older or younger. I don't mind showing hope for the kids who grew up on The Backstreet Boys and Brittany Spears. No offense…. but really. My favorite Beatles song changes every week, my favorite album changes every two weeks.
I'm a big collector of Beatles books, posters, movies, albums. Since I was 10 years old I've been saving for The Beatles Butcher Cover (not there yet). I own 16 Beatles DVDs and 9 albums (not including post-Beatles careers).
I sometimes word things strangely and I hope that no one ever takes offense to the things I say, I would never want to offend another Beatles fan!
Also, I sorry my name is long and awkward. I guess I didn't know this forum well enough to come up with a better one. Hopefully a nickname will come up soon.

OfflineHey Pretend, I am 24! *Internet high five!* That is awesome about your mom wearing headphones on her belly. That’s totally what I would do if I ever had kids. You’ve probably got all of us beat on how much of your life you have been a fan. But as for me, I was nine.
Welcome to the forum!

OfflineHi,
My name is Deborah and I am just about to turn 52, so I grew up with the Beatles.
I think I am fairly knowledgable about the Beatles, we'll see how many quiz questions I get.
I have been a professional musician all my life, it was the Beatles who inspired me at 4 years old to deman a Ukulele – first Beatle song i learnt was " If I fell "..now that's quite a tough jazz chord song for a little kiddy…well i was 8 when I learnt that, since I hade progressed to guitar.
Fave album has to be Rubber Soul, though i do love the early stuff, and love the late stuff, love it all.
Paul was always my fave, and still is.
Hi Deboraht, and all the other newcomers. Make yourself at home, pull up an apple, etc.
There are a few ukulele players here. I bought one last year though I only pick it up now and then. It's a fun instrument to play.
Let's Pretend… – great idea about using headphones on your unborn. I must get onto that. Although I'm sure Baby Ringo (working title, due late May) will end up being a Stones fan instead

Congratulations on the baby! There is no reason Baby Ringo can't be a fan of both. Just as long as his first words aren't Charlie Watts!
*17* means the headphones are definitely a good choice

OfflineHi everybody.
My name is Lauren, and I'm a 20 year old college student attending Florida State University (Florida born and raised). I'm a pretty recent fan, having been influenced by my brother – but I jumped head first into things and am obsessed with the Fab Four! I have seen all the films, have read four biographies (so far), have posters, tshirts, all the albums etc.
We (as in my brother and I) stumbled upon this website and have been drawn to it daily even if to just look up song facts. I finally decided to join the boards to satisfy my need to chat with other fans about any and every thing.
My favorite Beatle is John
But I have mixed feelings often from all the break-up drama and the John-Paul hatred. But anyway! Rubber Soul was my first favorite album (it switches a lot – especially between Revolver, Let it Be, and the White Album as of late, but I think it always returns back to RS) and that's what the RS in my name stands for. Just in case you were curious
I fear I'm just going to continue on answering questions that are asked throughout the forum just in my introduction, so I'll leave it at that. I look forward to great discussions.
And in the end
the love you take
is equal to the love
you make.
