Offline I have a math test, a huge test on monday and I haven’t even practiced even a single problem. I tried to do some but I couldn’t understand anything and i left, there’s no one to save me. God , Im going to fail.

I feel for you, @Hey Jude !; I remember math in junior high school and high school…; my nemesis. Later on I had to deal with accounting, and at college and when doing graduate studies, statistics. Numbers, always numbers. Hate them –but you cannot do science without them! So I’ve had to deal with them all my life. Anyways, good luck…

Offline I’ve started on the final project for After Effects Class, which will probably take me the entire next two weeks, as it has to be at least a minute long. 
It’s raining pretty strong in LA, and apparently the worst is yet to come this week. This means mudslides and major accidents, as no one seems to know how to drive properly in the rain. As we’ve been suffering the worst drought in decades, the rain is good to have, but it would be nice if it would happen more in moderation throughout the year.

@parlance Hope you stay safe. I heard about the drought and hope it keeps raining sans all the negative side effects. I remember one a few years ago in FL and they suck.
Good luck on your project! If the assignment is A Day In The Life of a drunk letter, you’ve got an A… Hopefully a sober one.

Offline I’m ill. Have one of those nasty colds, a headache and can’t stop coughing. This morning I also didn’t have a voice until the end of the afternoon. I had to whisper for hours, because when I opened my mouth this weird crackling sound would come out when I tried to speak. So I was pretty silent today, to my mother’s delight
Looking forward to the 5th of December. Sinterklaas! My mom told us we wouldn’t draw lots this year, but now she let slip a week ago that she bought presents anyway. My grandma has bought something for us as well and my sister was so enthusiastic that she let slip that she bought us a few presents as well. I was already planning to buy something for my mom, as I do that every year, but now I feel a bit guilty about not buying anything for the others, especially my grandma. But I just can’t, I’m not rich. Oh well, my little brother and sister will turn 18 on the 16th so I’ll just buy them something then.

Offline For my AP World History class, I’m going to have to write a research paper. Since this is our first and it’s more about learning the purpose and format, we are allowed to pick our own topic. The teacher strongly recommends we write about something we’re interested in. He mentioned sports, music, and art, among more “traditional” topics like the Holocaust and World War II. I figured I’d form my thesis based on the topic of the music of the 1960s. I haven’t come up with my thesis yet, and it will take some planning, especially since it cannot involve United States history (last time I checked, the US was part of the world, but they’re saving that for next year). Anyway, I’ll yet you guys know if my music-related thesis gets approved; wish me luck!
