@ScrambledEggs Your written English is superb. Have you ever thought about attending a university in the U.S.?

Oh, I have, a great deal too. So many days spent daydreaming about sunny California. Unfortunately, that's an option I can only dream to afford. When it comes to Germany, I've got a place to stay and an aunt to help me out, and I've well settled that I can make money over there on my own. A part time job and a guitar to drag on the streets is all I need to get through University.

I used to enter all kinds of competitions so I could get a scholarship and go to the USA or the UK, and won a fair number of them too, but poor Macedonia doesn't invest in people with no family nor political connections to the government. I guess I just have to make do.

And thank you very much for the compliment :) Glad to know that what I write is at least understandable!

Oh that's right, finals are coming up indeed. My brother and sister are already very busy studying for them too *cough*notreally*cough*
I want to wish everyone good luck with that! Think logically, eat and sleep well, and try to relax as well. It's all stuff you've already learned, so you should be able to succeed.

ScrambledEggs, I really admire you for being there for your sick friend. A lot of people would back out at some point, but not you. You must be a great friend and I'm sure your friend is proud of you. It's also good to hear she's cancer free. That really makes it worth, right?
Life is short and something like that can turn your world upside down..

I also hope you and your mom work things out. Having fights with your mother always sucks.

Thanks Linde, for the words of encouragement and everything else. :-)

I am happy I was there for her and helped out as much as I could, but it's really her everyone should be proud of. She was really tough throughout the whole process.
As for my mum, I don't think we'll ever work things out completely. We're in a constant fight. That's another way of life, I suppose.

Of course. I always admire those people too. I mean, if I had cancer, I would break down completely. I truly believe that having the will to fight helps.

Ah I know that, I'm the same with my dad. We just can't get along and I just despise him. Oh well.

After binging on It's All Too Much, I've stopped for lunch in Checotah, OK. Can you name a famous person from this town?

Well, obviously, there's Samuel Checote, the first leader of the Creek Nation after the Civil War. The town was named after him.

Then there's Mel McDaniel, the country star from the '80s. Or could you be thinking of Paul Henry Carr, who was posthumously awarded the Silver Star for his actions during the Battle off Samur. But then there's Woody Crumbo, the Potawatomi artist. But you are a librarian, so you could well be thinking of the Pulitzer winning war correspondent, Jim G. Lucas. But it might be you're a fan of the Detroit Lions and thinking of NFL linebacker Tracey Scroggins. Then there's always US X-Factor winner Carrie Underwood…

I have an entrance examination soon so I'm a bit stressed. It would be really nice if I got accepted in the university. I have plan B so I'm not overly worried about this. I should do something important with my life…. go to school or work. It's so hard… You can't have a job if you are uneducated! Or maybe I'm unlucky! I felt total panic about this matter and I thought I'm no use to my society a-hard-days-night-ringo-4

My Valentine's Day was extra "happy" because my boyfriend left me :) Wonderful! Not! He had no feelings anymore. We are friends now and he's acting really weird sometimes. Like he still likes me or something like that…

And last Wednesday I was with some friends (we were celebrating 1st of May) and two of them got their boyfriends too. My childhood friend's boyfriend liked the Beatles too! I talked him in English, he knew Finnish but it wasn't so fluent. He seemed so nice! Soon we went to see the city's nightlife and we went to this nightclub blah blah blah and so on. Now comes the interesting part: I saw the Boyfriend Who Likes The Beatles standing alone next to the dancefloor and I went to ask him where the others are. We had a little small talk and then he suddenly says something like "you speak English" and I said yes. The he said his girlfriend can't speak English so good. I had a bad feeling where this conversation was heading… Then he said that maybe he shouldn't talk to me because he was starting to like me… and he thought I was cute. He held my hand when he said that. I was utterly speechless! He said his girlfriend doesn't like the same things… and I do. Oh my god… Then he moved my hair behind my ear and said he'd like to f*ck me. I was horrified. And the rest of the night he was touching me. I told him to stop but it didn't seem to work! And he did those things in front of his girlfriend! I'm amazed how she didn't see any of that! The next day was very awkward… We all were staying at my friend's apartment. I caught him staring at me. I decided to go home and so I did. I still felt bad about that Beatles-Boyfriend Incident, so I texted my friend and told her all. She was thankful and apologized. She said he hasn't done nothing like this before and that this was so unbelievable. She said that he was acting weird after that night so she was suspicious. I feel terrible because I kind of like that guy. Liking the Beatles is like an aphrodisiac…

My ex was with me Saturday (that was the day I told my friend about her bf's doings) and he was so weird… I told him about what happened to me and he seemed unhappy somehow. Then he sat pretty close to me. Then I caught him looking at me… We watched a movie and I noticed he moved his hands closer to me. And once he accidentally touched my knee. Before he left he said something and I couldn't hear what it was. a-hard-days-night-paul-10 He was smiling when he said that something. I want him back!!!

Holy hell how long this post is.

Is that anywhere near Chickasha, OK?

One of my favourite albums of the '70s was Static Disposal, by Debris'. They were from Chickasha.

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!" -- Paul McCartney

@Von Bontee, Chickasha is very close to where I live. I go through it when I drive to Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and beyond (anywhere not in the direction of Texas basically). Checotah is much further from me.
