I finished and (today) handed in a paper that I’ve been working on for nearly six months.  Also, later this week, I’m withdrawing from a course that’s giving me great difficulty.  I can’t stop smiling.

The following people thank Necko for this post:

If I don’t like something about my job, can I drop it like you are dropping a course, @Necko? That would be so nice!

School was tiresome and amazing at the same time. Today our first half was completely free as the teachers were not present so I did nothing much just sit in the class, i soon got bored and in 3rd period i made an excuse of going outside for water and sat in the chem lab and did some sort of science project work (i didnt participated officially) but had fun, oh i got selected for xmas show along with other 6 boys who have a big role. Every years we do some different shows sometimes it’s  from novel or sometime we show how people celebrate and sometime we just simply show the birth of Jesus Christ and His life, this year we are doing a Russian play and main character is Martin. So this is the first time im taking a part so can you guys help me to become Martin, I mean some tips to look like a guy perfect for it.(This year we’ve started preparations every early)

I was in principals office for audition and bio test was going on when i left the period was almost over, i tried to run away but got caught and teacher made we sit in 5 & 6th period and i did the test. I had no stationary what so ever and borrowed it from boys and girls from class. Today was rough but awesome at the same time.ahdn_paul_01

I may be using the wrong name to send an @ to the Hey Jude who made the post above me. Have you gotten one from me in the past week or so? I know I did one to you in the Introduce Yourself thread. I am using the html editor and I use hey-jude in my @. Does anyone know if this is right? If no one knows, I will switch to the Rich Text editor to find out.

Just spoke to a large organisation in regards to doing some volunteer work in one of their opportunities after getting an email to contact them a few weeks back (life has meant it hadn’t been possible earlier). The phone call involved an utter tosser insisting that i sign-up for anything without even seeing the details or being able to get there or they close my account immediately, i couldnt even go online to look at what was available to narrow down the options. Yeah sure, i’ll sign up for driving folk around Easterhouse at 6am in the morning when i dont have a driving license or stay anywhere close.

I got so fed up and annoyed i hung up. blue-meanieblue-meanieblue-meanie

Screw them!!

I had a run-in at the bank and swore at the manager; first time I have done that in public and I feel a touch silly.

Reason being I am in advance on my house payments by $200,000 and have a ‘redraw’ facility whereby I am supposed to be able to get some of that back when needed (and then pay it off again over the life of the loan which technically has 14 years to run even though I only owe $300 on it now).  Well, it seems that the bank teller put the wrong code on my payment advances and they are now ‘not accessible’ to me.  As some of you know I have recently lost my car and have lots of expenses while trying to get rid of an ‘investment’ home my ex saddled us with – I was looking for the redraw to consolidate debts so I could afford to pay them off while I am still looking for work.

The manager admitted the mistake, but told me they couldn’t fix it ‘sorry’ – the basic message was “it sucks to be you” so I lost it.  Lucky I was not in the USA and don’t own a gun – ‘going postal’ came briefly to mind.

So now – my residential home is at risk as I can’t pay the balance of the car loan after it was auctioned and I am behind on payments on the ‘investment’ property – even though the bank has 200k of my money.  To top it off the roof has begun to leak right over my bed and I also can’t afford to repair it without the ‘redraw’.

On the positive side – “The Smile Sessions” was an interesting listen (and yes, I will get to “Wild Life ” one month soon) – and I have rediscovered the joy of toasted ham and cheese sandwiches (with some good red wine).

I’d go hunting for someone to help you out with the bank. If they have so badly screwed up then its their responsibility to get it fixed not shrug their shoulders and go “whoops, sorry!! Oooh, lunch time. If you don’t mind my sandwich is waiting so off you pop”.

I do hope you get everything sorted out @trcanberra and soon. Tho i’d suggest robbing the bank as at least you would be better off financially – at least for a while.

For such a mistake i’d have done a lot more than swear, they’d have to drag me out kicking and screaming.

And a ham and cheese toastie is delicious. Good choice on the food front.apple01

@trcanberra, once you are able to collect your thoughts, I hope you will find a way to not take “no” for an answer.

The other thing about your post that grabbed my utmost attention was “my ex”. That sounds like good news too if the break is final.
