The surgeon had to put a temporary pacemaker thingy in my mom’s heart while he changed out the battery and hooked up the leads. I found out that means we will be here for another 6 hours. I’m glad I have you all to keep me entertained.

I am keeping my mom entertained with what is going on here on the forum. She says it is better than t.v.
NO! I am not telling her about ALL the Paul stuff.
She says “hi” and “thank you” to all of you. It is a little after 9 pm. We should be able to leave in about 30 minutes. She is in some pain. She just had a Lortab.

I have been having problems with a girl for the last couple of months. It is a long story and a strange problem so I will spare you the anguish and boredom, unless you want to know. It is keeping me up at night but has inspired a few songs, though. My school has also given me a rough time.

Offline Spent an hour hoovering and mopping three rooms only for a long glass light bulb to fall to the floor sending gazillions of fragments, all different sized, across all three rooms. I am as amused and annoyed as if i were watching a Michael McIntyre stand up routine hosted by Clare Balding.

Offline We were hungry when we left the hospital last night so we stopped at Steak ‘n Shake for a bite to eat. We made it home atound 11:30. Mom is a little sore, but she is feeling fine otherwise. She thanks you for all the well wishes.
UFT, yes, we are all sitting on the edge of our seats now waiting for the story. Bring it on.
Mustard, be careful cleaning that mess up.

I feel your pain, Doc. Zag & I went through this last year over the holidays. She had to move down here on 9 December and I could not leave Maine until 1 January. Being apart at Christmas nearly killed me – a snow storm made travelling impossible. I could not imagine trying to do it with kids, though. Hang in there, sir. The stress will ease up eventually. Best of luck!
