@ScrambledEggs, the last thing you should be sorry for is not posting a set-list, your thoughts and concerns were for your friend and quite right too. Just glad to hear the doctors are confident about your friend coming out of her coma soon. Look after yourself at this time and here’s to your friend making a full recovery as quick as possible.

Thank you, all. It means so much to me. I’ve been so miserable and confused these past few days, wanting to go back home to Macedonia when it’s almost impossible before the 7th of August. I just hope she will be okay.

It has to be difficult, @ScrambledEggs, being away from home at such a time. If ever you want to talk, feel free to PM, and I know I speak for many here.

@ScrambledEggs I’m sorry to hear that, it’s great she’ll be able to recover fully though. That’s something to be thankful for. I hope she’s back to 100% soon, and that you can get home as soon as possible.

Like Nasty said, even though we’re a bunch of Internet strangers, we’re here if you need.

What more can I add? It’s horrible news to get, especially when you’re so far away from home. It’s great news that she’ll wake up though. Let’s hope she’ll recover soon. I hope you’ll be able to make the best of your remaining days in Germany though. It may sound harsh and I know you want to be with your friend now, but being miserable won’t change the situation. Just enjoy the rest of your days there and before you know it you’ll be back home and your friend will have woken up.

What Ron Nasty also said, feel free to PM me if you want. That goes for everyone btw. I’ve been talking to some people on here and it’s great to be able to cheer each other up or help each other.

I agree with what Linden said you can’t dwell on it right now since you can’t do anything yet so try to have a fun time in Germany

And like what others said you could PM if you wanna talk to someone

I’m sick.  My throat hurts (admittedly less than yesterday), I have a really bad cough, my nose is constantly running, and my eyes decide to water at the most inconvenient times.  I should be working on a paper, but I just feel too damn awful to get anything done today.

What kinda paper?

It’s on Beat writers.  It’s some artsy-fartsy analytical multidisciplinary paper that I’m ready to be finished with.

EDIT: Also, to quote Ringo in The Simpsons… Please excuse the lateness of my reply.

You guys are wonderful. Any use of saying “thank you” again? :)

My mum woke me on the phone this morning to threaten me that if I don’t go out today, she would tell my sister to sing whole day long. That’s something I (or anyone else on the planet, really) cannot endure, so I am going out today at last! I’ve been as rational with myself as possible, and I’ve known all these days that if I were in the hospital, I’d want my friends to have fun. But feeling miserable is just too damn easy, and well, it’s okay to take the easy way every Now And Then . Today, though, that doesn’t apply – I’ve got a date and I better be cheerful! And logging in here, reading all these words of support… I just can’t help but smile like a fool 🙂

I only just saw your post, I am very sorry to hear about your friend, I hope she recovers very quickly and while Im typing this, I hear the song Getting Better on the radio. :)

Of course it is hard to be cheerful when something like this happens. I hardly went on the BB when my dad was in hospital, but I’m glad you’re going out today. So, have fun on your date!

It went by wonderfully. My date was a really incredible guy who made me laugh and laugh and laugh. He even sang “Let it be” to cheer me up. I had such a lovely time. Never did I know dating could be as easy. Macedonians just have to complicate things :)
