Wise words from Joe, that I completely agree with.

Also, it’s indeed a good thing to learn liking and accepting yourself for who you are. If you can’t even like yourself, how could you expect anyone else to do so? Liking and accepting yourself will help you in your relationships as well. If you don’t, it will not work. And I speak from experience.

You are you, and that’s the best you can be. Just remember that.

@Joe “When I finally got together with Ellie (I’ll save you the back story), I remember texting my housemate: “She’s mine.” I won the prize, I got the girl.”

That sounds like every relationship I’ve ever had. I felt like I accomplished something if I could get a girl to like me and want to be around me. I still kinda feel that way; I’m always asking the wife “Are you sure you still want me around?”

Women sometimes think like that too, depending on the situation. (not to be too much of a feminist, but we do)  It’s just human nature.

Well, finally got a turntable to listen to my UK Beatles LP’s.  Had to hook it up to my old stereo in the basement as it had PHONO input on the Receiver.  After cranking it loud, I then played my 2009 Beatles stereo CD set.

Blew both my woofers.  I saw a circle of light/fire behind the speaker grill and that’s when I saw all the foam surrounds had fallen off the woofers.  Mind you they are 26 year old speakers, and could have been falling apart before this, just never really played it anymore.

What a gas I had doing this!  Still loved the sound of the pop & crackles from the turntable! a-hard-days-night-paul-11

Listening to my favorite morning show dissect Yoko’s performance at Glastonbury. This is no way to greet the day.

I watched a youtube video on Yoko’s music yesterday. Wont post it here as it lasted 4 minutes and the 3 i got thru of those were filled up with words that would get me excommunicated.

Yoko’s performance at Glasto was all over the place here in the news and on the radio. Hilarious, though for some reason I kind of pity her.

Writing a Zeppelin inspired acoustic hard rock instrumental.
I messed around with the tuning this morning until I got a sound I wanted and thought of a little progression. Although, I recorded a pretty good beginning and thought of another part so my original idea might not be in the final song and it may be less hard rock.
Either way should be up today or tomorrow! ahdn_ringo_09

Sounds good, can’t wait to hear it. Do you plan on it sounding a bit like Over the Hills and Far Away, sort of starting slowly, acoustic, then switching to electric for the rest? (at least I think it’s like that…)
